I said it in '76, and I still say it now... this is my favorite Peter Frampton song, both versions: electric and acoustic!
AGREED 100%

Same here, I feel do you feel like we do ties with this gem.
Long haired kids made the Seventies, this song is a handcrafted bottle of wine that was made in era where kids surfed; skated; and truly cherished the music that this great composer; musician; and all time legend who still makes us reminiscence of our childhood memories. Thanks! Peter for this incredible video for our new generation to truly understand the meaning of true music. Keep playing Peter like it's still 1977.
Skateboards were the method of our transportation of my generation. Well said Joel, well said.
The emotional lyrics and beautiful guitar playing makes me appreciate how incredibly talented Peter Frampton is. I don’t think there is anything better than this beautiful song. His playing on this song just pulls at my heart. Spectacular version of a classic.
Wow, this song is as powerful today as it was when I was in 7th grade. I am 53 years old now, and it's timeless gems like this which remind me of the power of music. Kudos to Peter.
True my friend
I'm 60 and it feels the same for me too. Frampton still looks like he enjoys it just as much as back then too.
chelobes awesome tune never gets old.
I'm 53 as well and this still makes my forearm hair stand up...especially during the solos.
Amen :)
Probably the most UNDERRATED guitarist of my generation !
Stephen Milham..............You are correct! He is a GREAT guitarist and master melodian!

@@mark1952able Pure class, the best of the English race.
Peter Frampton is like a fine wine... he only gets better with age 🤟🏽
It’s now 2024, April, and this song still rocks it. Saw him in concert at Madison Square Gardens in NYC one summer, somewhere around 1976 or so. The stage moved in a circular motion so the entire audience could get a frontal view. The show was amazing as he was very popular. We took the train intoNYC from OysterBay, Long Island, where the train ends. We lived right across the street from the bay and the train station. Great summer. We tripped on LSD all summer long, every day.
I had no idea how much I wanted an acoustic album by Peter Frampton until I saw this...wow.
My favorite Frampton tune, still powerful after all these years. Frampton's Camel version was the first time I loved it.
Superb version of a beautiful toooon 🎤🎸
FC album is one of my favourites especially All Night Long
That’s great please keep playing long as you can man. 😎👍🙏

Thank you, Peter. I’m 73 and been a pupil of your music since Humble Pie.
This is a beautiful song and so tastefully done. Thanks again. Peace.
We get older....we all die one day.....but I'll never forget that time I got introduced to you and your music for the first time....almost memorized the whole "live" album by heart....will never forget for the rest of my life....thank you....song always bring tears....

Me too 💙
In 2019 my friend told me he had an extra ticket to see Peter Frampton in
Concord, CA. I had nothing else to do, so I went along. As 23 yr olds we were on the younger side of the audience for sure but I can tell you it was honestly one of my favorite concerts ever. I was very touched by this song in particular. It makes me a little sad not growing up when folks with this kind of talent were in their prime.
5 stars! Wonderful, standing ovation. When I think of the 1970's I think of Peter Frampton. 'Framton Comes Alive' changed my life and I still enjoy that record every few weeks. A treasured artist.
Same age as you. When I hit 45 it hit me....why the fuck am I ashamed of liking Frampton???? Great artist. When I was thirteen I rode my bike to the arena he was playing and listened through the wall because I couldn't get a ticket. Finally, a few years ago caught him live...and very glad I did. Love the music.
trent reeve.............he was/IS a master melodian......amazing!
Peter Frampton is so musical just meant to play
This version. One of the finer things in life.
My very first concert in 76 , I was 16 - been a fan ever since. Awesome
Being a 17 year old doesn’t seem that long ago...yet here I am almost 60 with high school memories flooding my mind. Frampton Comes Alive will always be a huge part of my life...
Still so beautiful Peter Frampton.
Well, this is about as good as it gets. "Wooden music" expertly and passionately played.
Played this album till I wore out the grooves on the vinyl............."its' as good as it gets"............Right on!
All this and he’s a sweet soul, kind, funny ,the real deal !
I am speechless its better than any live version I have ever heard. The tuning is spot on
Wonderful... happy to see you doing so well, Peter. God bless you.
For all the moments you and I have shared, thank you Peter.❤
Not too many guys are born with ability to play a guitar like this man ! He truly god sent musician to bring some happiness in this cruel and violent world of today ! ❤️
Like most followers of Peter Frampton I have followed his music for 40 years but I think the thing that plays the loudest is the happiness he shows for life. Well done to you PF.
And well-said :)
Goosebumps all over the place :-)
Never can get enough of this fantastic performance!
.
I’ve loved Frampton since I was a teen. He wasn’t much older. His playing just gets better with age.

We're getting older,Peter! But you sound great! If my sister hadnt left her albums in my bedroom in 1976 because I was the only one with a stereo system, who knows what would have happened! Merry Christmas to your whole family. And thanks for the music for my ears and vivid imagination!
Grew up listening to Peter Frampton and I am very glad to hear him play to this day, especially this number. Your guitar playing/style has always influenced me Peter. Thank you for the great turn on.
My favorite Frampton song!!!! This version is so heartbreakingly beautiful. The effect of the passage of time on Peters voice make the lyrics even more meaningful...more emotional. Can't help the tears from flowing...

Well here come all those memories. I was lucky enough to have these songs on 8 track
Back again to hear this years later. It's still awesome .saw him at MSG in the summer of 1977 when I was 17.A great concert of course. It's just
tragic that he's losing the ability to play because of a rare neuro-muscular disease. I pray that you get a miracle Peter 🎼🎵🎶🎵🎶🎸😊❤🙏

Underrated Genius Guitarist
My favourite song by Peter. So bittersweet, always a little tear.
If anyone's curious about that odd guitar he's playing, it's a Tacoma Chief. The Tacoma guitar co has been out of businesses since 2008, but a similar design is going into production now. Nashville Guitar guru George Gruhn owns the patents to this offset-soundhole layout, and he's producing them at a factory near Nashville. More details coming soon...
Amazing, said, yet so true. Loved his music when I was young. Now I'm old too and reconnecting with Peter's music. A sobering reality that we all are growing older and time is slipping away. Just a few more songs Peter, to help me reminisce of days gone by and the fond memories they held..
Rare breed, a class singer song writer who also happens to he a master improvisor
“Live In Detroit” version is my favorite electric rendition of this song! His solos are always powerful and reflect his emotions so well!
Make sure to record this epic unplugged version. There will never be another (Sir) Peter Frampton again.
Acoustic version ! YES ! 👍
I grow with this song its a song i love so much i feel inside of me thanks peter we love you since México.
Ah music that breathes. My life circled around Peter a couple times. What a special soul. Caught his farewell tour in 19. Was surprised how moving it was. 2020 gave me a few answers why. Something is leaving.
He plays with so much feelings.
I was at his outdoor concert in Montreal 1976! Voice is still strong! Incredible! Thanks for sharing this! Sad song though.. tragic...
Spirit is timeless
Looking forward to seeing him one last time on his farewell tour. Such an amazing musician who decided to stop touring after 2019 due to a degenerative muscular disease that will eventually impact his playing. Thank you for all of your incredible music and entertainment, Peter! This fan, along with millions of others, wish you the very best!
Played this way, it sounds even more dreamy and sad. I love it! Thank you, Peter, for sharing your incredible gift with us.
Hello how are you doing today, so are you also one of my lovely supporters out there?
