Just ordered myself the Abba Skylift today, it will be here in 2-3 weeks! Also got the #14 Bobbin Adapter (Suzuki GSX 1300R (up to 02)), it was verified by the distributor.
Am excited to get it and use it, tired of working on the floor.
Thanks for all your help, great learning a lot.
    Cheers!

Thanks Robert, it is a great piece of kit, so glad i got one, as you have seen it has had the Busa / ST and the Z on it, so much easier, `will try and get the Varadero on it next

I have watched quite a few of your clips/video's, and I feel you have done some brilliant work on here, but I can't say I'm happy about the skylift, I prefer a hydraulic motorbike lift bench, the skylift seems abit wobbly, I have learnt a lot from what you have put on youtube,

Thanks Geoff, i appreciate your feedback, in time and a bigger workshop i would prefer a hydraulic bench, but as i am short on space the Skylift does what i need it to and after use i can pack it away, i am glad that my video's have helped you

Hi just to let you know I used half the fitting kit for a Honda CBR 600 Fx and half from a fireblade cbr1000rr (they are apparently the same) to lift my ST1100 on a Abba stand not tried it on the sky lift as I was worried about the weight limit but now I know it can handle it, I will use the sky lift when I do the timing belt

In 2017 I let ABBA stands use my ST1300 as a dona bike because I wanted them to engineer the parts for the Skylift so it would work for my ST in 2017 and they did. i am surprised they didnt give you copies of the parts they made for me.

Thanks, no nothing, i did ask, so used my own initiative and use it for all my bikes, My St11 and my XL1000 have both gone on it

@@TheAmateurBikeBuilder Yeah it's a great piece of kit and I have a UA-cam video of my ST1300 in it too. I will hang on to it even if the pan goes.

I enjoyed your video. Great content - can you put some extra lighting when you do the clutch? It might help us to see a bit more.

Cheers Gary, sorry about that, i do try and use a light where i can, as soon as i can, i will change the lighting in the garage, to brighter ones, just a case of cost at the moment

Bobbins are 16mm and 17.3mm. In the technicians kit, they are B6 and B8. I know this upload is old. If your still out there my man, please measure and verify

Please be careful with the ST as it’s a heavy beasty! 👍🏻

Keith sir . Shouldn't U maybe consider putting a axle stand or 2 Underneath... There's a lot wobble while up in The air . ☕

Thanks Alvaro, it is held in on both sides of the swingarm and the rear is strapped, i had some movement when the Hayabusa was on it but it stayed where it is, the Abba Skylift has a 3 tonne jack on it so its not going anywhere
