Yurt Camping at Red Top Mountain Georgia

We camped at the new Yurt Village at Red Top Mountain State Park in Cartersville, GA in early October 2023. It was our first time camping in a yurt, and we had a great time. The yurt was very nice and comfortable and had lots of room. The Yurt Village is tucked away in a corner of the campground, sites 19 to 23. It gives you the feeling of being in a more private setting. They are apparently popular as all of the yurts were occupied during our stay. The bathroom facilities are a bit of a walk up hill, but the bath house was also rebuilt and is very nice. We will definitely be doing this again.

We visited Ft. Yargo yurt village and I simply LOVE them!
Looking forward to visiting Red Top Mt . For the fall 🍂🍁
