Just within a couple of episodes this show has become one of my favourite segments on the channel
The UK has always been blind to the designs of Pakistan.
Till the time UK started getting affected directly, it was easy for them to overlook all of Pakistanis follies. Right from the time of the partition Britain has always sided with Pakistan to Indians detriment.
Maybe now they will wake up and not try to sweep all of Pakistan’s transgressions under the carpet.
On the other hand, I fail to understand what India gains by being a part of the Commonwealth. First of all, it begs the question, “Common Wealth for whom”.
Just for the Britisher to feel good that all their colonies are still with them.
India gains nothing tangible being a part of this organization and should have quit a long time back. It would have been better if we had been a part of the ASEAN or other regional organizations than being a part of the so called
Commonwealth.
It is still not too late to break loose from our colonial shackles and chart our own course as a strong and vibrant, multicultural and secular nation.

There's something called the commonwealth scholarship which is huge. Moreover if there isn't any embassy of your country of origin in a place, you can seek consular assistance from a British embassy. There's lots of other advantages too.

Your silence can be understood as anything but mostly motivational.
2.) If you notice, in any religion the large numbers of followers wouldn't have in depth knowledge of that religion only a small group who dedicate their life's for it know more about the religion.
In the case of your religion, that small group of people who dedicate lives to learn it turn out to become extremists and terrorists which is not seen in any other religions. Why?
Talibans and ISIS know in depth of your books than most followers in india because they spent their life's only on those books and follow it more strictly. And it is known fact that the book of your religion has only one version and it's the same text is followed over the world.
So as a logically thinking outsider what do you expect us to understand from all this.
The good muslims in india do not have an in depth understanding of their religion like how most Hindus and Christians don't have an in-depth knowledge of their religions.
But when a person tries to learn in depth in your religion they easily get pulled towards Isis while the contrary is not seen in other religions.
Praveen is a meticulous analyst but more often than not, the context and the conclusion is missing. All we know is the history and causes of some event but nothing beyond. Praveen ought to spend sometime on these missing aspects. That said, it must be mentioned that he is an asset to The Print.

I felt the same - two minutes of introduction to know what I am getting into and summary at the end would be very engaging - otherwise great job and good to see him here in Print

Unbiased and objective comments from a very learned scholar on security and radical islam. I enjoyed reading his articles when he was writing for the The Hindu
First time the print accepting Islamist jihad as terrorism is surprising. But still always huge respect for Praveen sir. Waiting for more such videos...
This is not the first time Praveen Swami has attempted to localize religious violence, he has written a few articles explaining away religious violence in Kerala as well. The questions I want to ask is
1. Why does only one community seek religious sanction to indulge in violence
2. Why do other communities that go through the same challenges as this one not resort to terrorism.
3. What might be the reason for one community yo find fault with every other community except its own and then indulge in violence
4. This question is for the establishment: why does the government seek assistance of the priestly class/community leaders to broker peace, when it ought to directly engage the individual to resolve issues. Isn't the govt setting a bad example by creating alternative power centers which can hold the govt to ransom or to corner resources when the time is right?

I am sorry but i gotta report this video as misleading, the two name that you mentioned sidharth and gujrati guy. They were not hindu but converted Muslims. Please put the fact right. This is half truth to mislead people. Didn't expect this low from the print.
Few suggestions
1. Context setting is important, please spend some time of why we should be hearing about this development.
2. Quotes from authors/ articles need special emphasis. While you are mentioning them clearly in video, I prefer listening to the content as podcast.
3. The duration of video can be for 15 mins or so, however, we will be able to appreciate the content better only if the pace is slower.
