This is my favorite looking among daily ~21L bag that has a water bottle holder (looking at you CPL). But when I look at features I want I'd probably go Aer Lunar bag, its $170 as well too and has a dedicated laptop compartment (I like have external access) and clamshell layout which I'd make more use of. I do like luggage pass throughs, it would be easy for brands like evergoods and able to add to a simple luggage pass through strap to their EDC bags, but they don't seem to think of people who need a personal size item to slide onto a carry on roller I guess. At least they put it on their 30L+ bags so we can slide it on a check in sized roller, but some people do two bags with just one carry-on roller and one personal sized backpack... Aer city pro is also another option that has more space inside and the same features as the lunar except with external water bottle, its kinda pricier though.
Able carry makes returns very difficult. It is a tedious process with multiple, time consuming requirements which must be precisely executed within two week from the time their product arrives at your doorstep. One digit was mistakenly inaccurate in the tracting number of my return, which I was required to enter and submit. My return package arrived at their facility and they didn’t bother filing my return, or notify me. The return had my return address clearly legible. Able carry intentionally complicates their return process to thwart returns. Had I not followed up on my return, I am quite certain they would have merely resold my backpack, and not credited me.
My order is in. Have the Max and it’s awesome, but big for EDC. Glad they added an external water bottle compartment to this version…it’s why I didn’t buy the original Daily.
Great review Bo! I've had the Max since the beginning and I'm looking forward to receiving the Daily Plus soon! I will say, I wasn't excited to see they removed the 1000D Cordura from the base, what are your thoughts?
Good question. They are pretty similar in feature set tbh. But just from the look alone I would go with the able Carry. Furthermore, the a frame is actually pretty good
@@Youknowthebo besides the features, I think that the Aer City Pack Pro would be too bulky on my body, also I don't need to carry that many things in a daily basis. On the other hand, this backpack seems it would be a better fit. What do you think? do you feel they have similar sizes?
I gotta say, it's the small things that make and differentiate reviews from others, so I'd like to point out the smart idea of filming smaller inside pockets with a light in them to see the internal organization better, very smart idea. Klasse Video wie immer!
I really wish companies stop using that seat belt material for the shoulder adjustment straps. Those slides around and it makes me unable to set the adjustment firmly even when i wrap web dominators around it. I would instantly buy this if the adjustment straps were made of cordura
Interesting point of view. Never thought of it that way. I really like the seat belt webbing because it feels more comfortable and is less "demanding" on the garment that you are wearing. But I can see your point as well. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the lowdown! We’re the same height. Did you find it a tad long? It’s actually a hair shorter than the Daily and a hair longer than what I normally wear (18”/18.5” tops)…
Able Carry makes something I apreciate a lot: a comfortable bag with big dense straps. I really like my daily one. Have to say, Mukama is an excellent store for EU buyers. About the Plus.... hype ;)
Good question. Both are great. I guess if you want less organization (maybe because you want to use packing cubes) then the plc is the better choice. I guess it does come down to personal preference
Good question. Both are great. I guess if you want to a lot of slots, go with the daily plus. If you want a more simple layout, go with the Evergoods. Can't go wrong with either of them
Hello I’m looking for a daily backpack that is versatile for work or visiting a city (around 18l or 20l) this back featured in your video would be a great option! But do you have other to recommend ?Something sleek and urban vibe, not too bulky. Also do you have Canadian brand to recommend? Thanks for you help!
Hey. Check out the Evergoods PLC20. That's a great alternative. Or check out this roundup video as a starting point ua-cam.com/video/lOTeDEZfleU/v-deo.html
Hey Bo, love that opening shot of the bag floating, howd you do it? Keen to try this bag out, although I like Able Carrys Day Breaker 2, its similar but more lightweight ;)
Thank you very much. I shot it twice with a tripod. First you shoot the bag hanging from a light stand. Then take out the bag and shoot the background. Put both shots on top of each other and the mask the bag. Afterwards you can animate the bag to give it a floating feeling.
I don't store my phone in that pocket. I felt that the phone is a good reference for size. The only time I store my phone in The quick access pockets is when I go through the tsa security check at the airport. Same with the wallet. I don't like to throw these valuables in the plastic bin, so quick access pockets are great for those situations
Evergoods CPL24 / CTB26 - Using top quick access pocket at list twice a day during my commute to and from to keep my phones and headphones easily accessible. Some times keeping everything in the pants or jacket pockets is less convenient.

I love how you put in lights inside the bag to show the insides ❤ awesome review!
Thank you very much 😉 ✌️

Awesome. Please let me know how you like the bag
3:03 I love my old backpack because it have not one, but two hidden pocket at both side of the bag!
it make me organize my staff more easily.

Seems like a solid pack. And Mukama is indeed a great European store for EDC
Good to hear that you agree with the ad 😉✌️
Thanks for another great video! Stuck deciding between this and the Aer City Pack Pro. Which one would you recommend over the other?

Great review! I'd ignored Able Carry until now. GORUCK 26L GR1 fits me the best, but I'm looking for a smaller bag.
Thanks for watching. Are you now considering getting an able Carry?
@@Youknowthebo I ordered the Daily Backpack. It's worth giving it a try.
@@Duanewrites it's a great bag. Hope that you like it

Thank you very much. Appreciate the positive feedback ✌️😊
whats that at the bottom of the bag. looks really cool for customization given how the design of the bag is minimalistic
Great Review! I love this bag. I have a EG CPL 24L - Are these similar (Apart from the water bottle slot)

Love the review! Quick question regarding the water bottle pocket. Do you know if it’ll fit a 1L Nalgene bottle?
I don't own a 1l Nalgene unfortunately. So I can't test it. But the purple bottle that you can see in the video is 750ml big
Thanks for the lowdown! We’re the same height. Did you find it a tad long? It’s actually a hair shorter than the Daily and a hair longer than what I normally wear (18”/18.5” tops)…
Thanks for watching 😉 ✌️ I did not find it too long. But then again, maybe we have different upper body lengths.
@@Youknowthebo Good point!

Thanks for watching, mate 😉✌️
What’s that white pouch with a black zipper you’re using in this video?
That's from able Carry as well. I use it as a small med kit
But how can a company like Mukama sell cheaper than someone who imports it himself?
Do you think a passport will fit in the back pocket?
Comparing this bag to the Evergoods Panel Loader Classic, Which do you prefer?
Good question. Both are great. I guess if you want less organization (maybe because you want to use packing cubes) then the plc is the better choice. I guess it does come down to personal preference
Bo, if you had to pick one for yourself , would you choose this bag or evergoods plc ? :)
Im deciding between those 2 as well. May just try out both lol. Sage plc is interesting, also has the new fabric

Yes. Feel free to contact me if you have specific questions
Does it stand on its own? Or only when the load is appropriate for it?
Greetings from Germany!
it does stand but not as well as flat bottomed backpack from tumi
I don't really understand the 1L
Ist es vielleicht möglich Regentest bei den Bags zu machen?
Nice job with the advertisement. Bag looks really good and I am tempted to purchase one now.
Thanks, mate. Appreciate the feedback ✌️😉
I love mukama! the got all the great stuff!
I have the max, exceptionally well made, makes thule baga feels malnourished
Welcher Rucksack ist der beste für 2024 deiner Meinung nach?
Yeah!!!! Evil Bo is back!!!
😂 Yes, but I will think of New outros in the videos. The Colbor review had a different person in the outro 😂
Do you guys know European alternatives to Mukama? Love the website but wanted to see if there was something else out there :)
Keus-store in France? They ship to all EU
Been using mukama to ship to israel for yearsss
That's awesome 👍
Do u have smaller backpack recommendations?
Take a look at the Gravel backpack that I reviewed a few weeks ago. But I plan on doing a sub 20l backpack video next month
Is daily carry or daily plus shinier? Material wise
Interesting question. I don't have the Daily anymore to do a direct comparison. But since they have the same material, I would assume both are similar
That bag really suits your frame Bo.
Thanks 😉✌️
Do anybody actually store their phones with their bag? I can see that being a real hassle to get to when receiving a call or notification.
Same, even the wallet.. Usually, those items are in my pockets. So I never understand bags with phone pockets..

Is there room for Laptop 26x36x2.5 cm?
Vs Dayfarer in VX?
Your name suits you Bo is mono tone! 😂
😂
What wallet was that your carrying ?
That's the Ekster wallet. You can find a few videos about it on my channel
The price is ridiculous.
Yeah I was seriously looking at the Bellroy Transit and this looks early similar but almost cost half the price.
Everything that comes from Australia is insanely expensive, including Bellroy.
