WELCOME BACK TO OUR CHANNEL 😊
This week is absolutely EPIC!! We leave Lourdes and head to the small commune of Gavarnie and walk to the Cirque de Gavarnie which absolutely took our breaths away! We also stayed in our first aire (car park) and had the worst thunder storm ever (out first in Indie). The following morning was beautiful and whilst I tidied up and got bread and pain au chocolates Mark cycled up the Col de Tentes. We then drove up so I could see the amazing mountains literally a stones throw from Spain.
We absolutely loved this place and this has been my favourite video to put together. Hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
Thank you for watching and see you soon xx

The views in this one were excellent
Weren’t they just amazing 🤩 This was my favourite place and then going up to the top of the Col des Tentes to see where Dad cycled was amazing too - there was a little path that took you right over to Spain - we will have to go back and do that one day xx
Loving your videos nice relaxed account of France will really help us out for our upcoming summer 23 van holiday.
Hi Sharon 👋 Thank you so much for watching them! We had such an amazing time exploring the Pyrenees on both the French and Spanish side. Gavarnie absolutely amazed us!! Will you be heading to the Pyrenees?
@@AdventureswithAmandaandMark Hi Amanda and Mark we haven't planned our route yet literally booked the ferry and looking for ideas we have 3 teenagers in tow and are researching the different types of accommodation to see what's feasible for us and ideas of where to visit. You are giving us lots of ideas glad we came across your channel 😀
@@sharonmcwilliams7042 well if you like hiking/cycling then thats one place we’d highly recommend 😍 Thank you so much for your kind words, enjoy your trip planning 😊
@@AdventureswithAmandaandMark thankyou ,yes it looked stunning we'll be keeping it in mind.
Wow, thought the scenery was nice in the last vlog. Eye popping lay pretty. Thanks for a lovely vlog both, Tony and Julie.
Oh my goodness you two are having a binge session 😂 Thank you so much, we love that you’re doing that!! Oh my goodness, Gavarnie was mind blowing! Mark didn’t know where we were going and hadn’t seen any photos or anything so was really surprised and the fact that we stayed overnight there and he got to do another amazing cycle just made it one of our most favourite park ups ever!! Its definitely worth a visit. Thanks for watching - Amanda & Mark 😍
Stunning! Reminds me a bit of 'Sa Calobra', in Mallorca!
Oh my goodness! It was sooooooo beautiful there 🤩 We also found out that you could walk right over into Spain which would have been amazing! We have friends who have cycled Sa Calobra but thats one place we haven’t been to yet. Have you been to this part of France before? Do you like hiking? Thank you for watching - Amanda & Mark 😍
what a lovely place
It was absolutely stunning 🤩 Thank you for watching and commenting 😊
Absolutely fantastic walk and views up to the waterfalls, convenient park up too, as was the bike ride, but I'm still sticking to the flat on my fold up lol, keep them coming 👍
It was definitely the highlight of our adventure for me and I have no doubt we will go there again! The park up was great, forgot to say that there were more Aire’s up the road and one had water/waste etc. Thank you for watching - more cycling next time - still not flat through I’m afraid 😂
Wow 🤩 that looked stunning !! Those waterfalls! Must of felt pretty amazing being right underneath them😁 good effort getting a bit of running in🤙🏼 great vid guys😁
It took our breath away! Such an amazing place, really didn’t expect it to be that beautiful, so so glad we went there and our first proper night off grid too! If you are ever down in that part of France, try and visit, you’ll love it 😊 Thank you for watching and commenting guys, we really appreciate it xx
What an absolutely beautiful walk 😍 very envious of this one, and such stunning waterfalls 😍
Great cycle ride Mark, but it looked far easier to go up in the motorhome 🤣🤪
Another great video on the Pyrenees, well done you pair 😍 xx
Thanks guys, this was my absolute favourite place on our whole trip! Loved the walk and the overnight park up and getting right up close to those mountains! I think you’re right though definitely easier going up in Indie 😂
Hi, what a great video, I love your Cornish videos, but this one is amazing, was wondering what time of year was you there?
Regards karl and Lisa
Hi Karl and Lisa 👋🏻 Thank you so much, I absolutely love that video - we honestly couldn’t believe how amazing that place was 🤩 Have you seen our video of our visit to the Ordesa Valley in the Spanish Pyrenees 🏔️ That was just as amazing!! We loved our trip to the Pyrenees and went at the end of May so we were in Gavarnie on the 30th and a week later we were in Ordesa. It wasn’t overly busy that time of the year and as you can see the weather was pretty spot on!! Thank you so much for watching and for saying you loved our Cornish videos too, we really appreciate that 😊 Do you have a Motorhome? Have you been abroad in it? We’re heading to Spain in a few weeks 😍 Amanda & Mark x
Yes we have a chausson, we spent Xmas in Cornwall in it , and enjoyed a nice day in padstow thanks to your advise on which car park to use. We went to France last year, and will be going again in September
Awhh you guys have made our day!! If you get the chance to go to the Pyrenees then do it, lots of campsites and Aires and just this most amazing scenery. We know some UA-camrs that went there in September and think they had pretty good weather too! Are you on Instagram? It would be lovely to follow your adventures 😍
