I have a client who thinks I’m using too much glue, but I was trained by you guys…. So I know I’m not. Her symptoms are excessive yellowish hard crusty balls at the corners of her eyes and thick gray ish gunky residue. I think it’s a lack of washing…. She doesn’t wash her face from her own words. Can you guide me on what symptoms would be caused by excessive glue?

Hello love, this does sound like poor cleansing. Yellow crusts and grey gunk in the eyes is a sign of build up for sure. Often, too much glue results in 1) stickies 2)Redness and/or puffiness of the eyelid 3) discomfort or pain when blinking.. if you would like us to assess your work to make sure it looks good, send photos of your work to @lostartistrylash on Instagram and we will assess it closer to see if we have any suggestions on things that can be improved :)

So a little small bubbles is ok ? I noticed if I don’t have some small bubbles it won’t attach to my mannequin.

Great question!! Too much glue on the extension can add lots of weight on top of the natural lash, compromising the health of the natural lashes.
