YAAAAS! Because it's the slight release I find that have an issue with. I let go of my tweezer a Lil too much which leads me to losing alot of dead fans! Uugh luckily I'm practicing! Thanks again for the tips and great content sweetheart 🥰❤

Maybe a dumb question.... but I'm new. Why change between short to long base fans? Is it dependent on the natural lash?

No such thing as a silly Q when starting out in the industry!! This is mostly for styling / mapping purposes. A long stem fan will give a different result than a short stem. We have a mini Styling course on our site if you're ever wanting to dive deeper into styling! x🥰❤ courses.lostartistrylash.com/products/mini-course?variant=33250408955957

Ok.. Here we go.. Specifically I want PART 2 of this..
The fan making, great...✅, BUT the BASES for me look thin, like yours, but *stacked, therefore it looks triangular from the profile side view. (Kinda like yours? Video blurred a bit there.) That base, while not "square" from looking down AT the fan, ...IS IN FACT squared off if you look at it from the *PROFILE view. It's not "pointy" like purchased fans. Therefore... When clients brush, those bases might get pulled eventually. 😭 pleeeeeeeeease do part 2. 🙏 (Excellent content, BTW ❤️)

You would LOVE our Online Volume Mastery Course, we teach not only the pinch method in detail but we also teach every single handmade method available to learn currently. Not every method is for every artist so it's nice to find the perfect method for you. I know what you mean about the side view, the lashes have to stack somewhere. The shimmy method is best for stacking the base the way you are hoping for but you can also tap the base of any handmade fan on a surface as soon as it if created to stack a little more, creating a more pointed effect. I also find some clients I have to be super careful choosing a dimension for in general because they have such thin natural lashes, even if they are strong.
