You are not alone in thinking Shiv is hot this episode, she looked amazing. Kendall went back to season 2 Kendall, just kind of dead inside. I felt so bad watching this because he seemed genuinely done with the company and ready to accept a life without it only for Logan to pull him back in. The dick pic scene is forever priceless but LOL at Logan saying Gerri is a million years old to Roman when his age gap with Kerry is much larger but he doesn't see himself as a million years old. That's not to say Roman/Gerri wasn't weird though. I'm also glad y'all were uncomfortable with the Connor and Willa scene because that's literally been their whole relationship.
Logan seeing Gerri as “a million years old” vs calling Tabitha a “nice piece of ass” is so telling of his misogyny. (And how that extends to his dismissive nature towards Shiv) Especially given his own age over his partners. The way everything in this show is so intentional and smart. Every episode is so telling about everyone.
I would consider him calling Gerri a million years old as clear enough. Gerri is visibly younger than Logan (she’s not even that old) and yet it’s almost like he views himself as younger just because she’s over a certain age.
Really appreciated what you said about how uniquely awful it is to see Shiv take down other women when they're at their most vulnerable. It sucks because she would be familiar with what that is like, and you would hope that she would have empathy for them. Instead, it's almost like she uses that to add to her power over them, because she fully understands their feeling of powerlessness in those moments.

I mean, there is not much to understand about Roman and Gerry. Everyone has their own preferences, and that's fine. Roman obviously wants to be dominated, he also has a weird obsession with sexualizing Shiv a bit (he literally passed comments in the vein of "sexy secretary" over and over and over again), which is probably fueled by his Oedipus complex, and maybe also in his physical abuse as a child by his dad. Basically, he wants Gerry to sit on his face while calling him names, but also kind of rooting for him and being supportive of him like a mom. It is not that complicated, he is genuinely attracted to Gerry. She, on the other hand, maybe not so much.
To me, Roman seemingly has had some sexual abuse in his past, with the need to make sex wrong or be degraded. For whatever reason, he has a level of trust with Gerri and develops real feelings for her, that are very noticeable by season 4. I don’t think she is immune to him either. Also, noticeable by season 4. They aren’t cookie cutter but to me they are the most interesting pair on the show.
