Imagine Steve playing at his peak in today's NBA, where shooting three's is half of the offensive plays for all teams. You're basically looking at what Steve would do just by watching Steph Curry. Their games emulate each other because Nash was Steph's favorite player growing up. But if Nash shot as many 3's per game as the average NBA point guards do today, Nash would go down as one of the greatest 3point shooters in history.. Steph Curry, known as the greatest three point shooter of all time has an other-worldly CAREER 3pt percentage of 43%... guess what Steve Nash's CAREER 3pt percentage was...43%!!! The only difference obviously is that Steph Curry shoots many more threes per game than Steve ever did. But in today's game, Steve Nash would literally emulate what Steph Curry is doing now, if he had shot the amount of 3's Steph does... Plus just like Steph Curry, Steve Nash is a wizard handling and passing the ball, and getting his teammates involved... he's an even a better passer than Steph Curry is... Steve Nash would be considered an even greater point guard than he is already known for..

He even has a better field goal percentage than Steph Curry so Nash is a better shooter than Steph, it's crazy

I agree with you, but DO NOT disrespect Derek Fisher, he is a Laker legend and a clutch guru. Steve Nash and Derek Fisher have been the best point guards the lakers have had since Gary Payton and Magic.

If Steve nash had the same amount of talent like lebron did in Miami. He have success too. Lakers last year had the worst year with injuries. And everyone was old. Nash got hurt second game of season. Didnt comeback til against warriors n won that game. On Christmas Day they play the knicks, who had a good record n top 5-10 in defense. Lakers were real good that day. Everyone healthy n they won that game

They were cheering for Nash. You could ask every mavs fan if they wish they still had Nash and you would get a resounding yes. He means almost as much to this city as dirk does since they both were responsible for making them a playoff team in the first place. So no, they were not cheering for the lakers, we will always hate them :)

@dmacamill99 In regards to efficiency and all the aspects of offense then I completely agree. But when it comes to knocking down shots, creating shots, potential, then I'd have to say Kobe. Both are excellent players, I'd say the difference is Nash is a better team oriented player while Kobe is the more dominant scorer and individual player

Everyone said that Nash looked washed up last year, I didn't see it. I don't see how you can call 12.7 ppg and 6.7 apg on 49.7/43.8/92.2 washed up. I just found myself wishing that Nash would have shot the ball a bit more (Metta World Peace shot more times than he did), but he was playing with Kobe, Gasol, and Dwight, so I can't really fault him for falling back so they could get their shots. On top of that, Kobe's increased role as a playmaker caused Nash's assist numbers to drop, but it wasn't because he forgot how to pass or something, it's just how the system was working. If Nash could play like he did last season this season, I'd be happy.

i don't think he declared himself king, it's not his fault he had jordan comparisons (btw jordan got his first ring at 28, lebron is 28 now and has two rings), no he is not a 6'8 250 pound world class athlete, but he is the quarterback of basketball and also he is an 2 time league mvp, i'm pretty sure if nash was an nfl qb he would be heavily critisized for winning a league mvp but not winning a superbowl TWO YEARS IN A ROW, it's not lebron's fault his FANS proclaim that he is the goat

I don't get why the laker offense doesn't run through Nash. To often during close 4th quarters. It's always Kobe bring the ball up the court. Nothing against Kobe but I believe Nash is a better facilitator and floor general

  • @MrsMilkjuice
