As promised, here is the interview with Philip Quast. Credit to Behind the Red Curtain for this interview. While I upscaled the video and made it brighter and more colourful, I didn't need to do anything with the sound. I'm simply sharing this here for those that haven't seen it before. Many thanks ❤ KAP.
Hi Kappy. That was really Interrsting, thank you. It's fascinating how song lyrics can be isolated to determine the exact meanings in relation to the theatre performance. I think a small light bulb has come on, and I'm probably going to upset some Beatles and Stones fans - - - I never followed either group, I liked some tunes, but never enough to buy their recordings. And then, goodness knows how many years later, along comes Farnsey with his rearranged version of Help. ( can't call it a cover because it's nothing like the original). Every word had meaning, though not on a personal level, , and it produced accompanying images in my head - it was a huge revelation. "never too old to learn"!! . On John - any more really recent updates? I did read that he can sing, that his vocal cords were unaffected - that's wonderful, his unique voice should never be silenced. He, and his family and friends must be so happy. And I also keep forgetting to say - how is your mum doing? E❤
