gohan didn't really need to go ssj2 to beat the androids. super vegeta's power already surpassed the androids and I think it would be more realistic if gohan transcended the super saiyan wall like everyone did in the cell saga, but didn't go sjj2 yet.
yeah ok, scratch that. but like, i don't think gohan would've ever brought trunks with him to an android battle, in the original timeline, he already knew he'd prolly lose and so trunks would be the final hope. in here he js brings trunks, which doesn't really fit his character
@@FlouschFirst of, Grade two was unlocked by training, not rage. Super Saiyan 2 was unlocked by rage. Secondly, Gohan most likely didn't bring Trunks here and knocked him out as usual. But Trunks regained consciousness a lot sooner which allows him to assist Gohan.
