  • In this video I show how to shape the face of the hair and decorations of a polymeric "goddess" with a cabochon with the image of the moon (but I also made it with a cabochon with the earth image viewed from the satellite).

    So beautiful. I've never seen anyone brush with oil for a smoother effect before. Such a great idea. Thank you for sharing.

      Archidee a very good tutorial. After baking does the white polymer clay with oil covered, change color? And is it oily when you touch it?

      thank you. Oil does not change colors and dries during baking, so after baking the creation is not oily.

    • @archideedidiana
      @archideedidiana  7 років тому

      olive oil , I had only that one at home, but you can use other less expensive oils

    is the piece still oily after you remove it from the oven? and if so, how do you remove the oil?

      thanks so much - is the purpose of the oil to help smooth the clay? I was following this last night, without the oil and found it difficult to get a smooth result.
      thanks very much for sharing this information

      Alisa Lehman yes this was the purpose 😊

    • @archideedidiana
      @archideedidiana  7 років тому +1

      with silicon rubber (two components that harden in 5 minutes)

      Italian is a beautiful language, but I understand; However don't be embarrassed by your English. Practice makes perfect! But either way amazing work.
