Absolutely beautiful! This is a perfect video to show people that you don't need all kinds of fancy tools and gadgets in order to create equisite polymer clay items.
That is so true! You can use things you have in your home... Fancy tools can help you make work faster but if you have the basic things you are good to go. 🤗💜
Amazing! Do you recommend putting a finishing coat of some kind after baking to keep the paint and pigment from chipping? If so, what would you recommend? Thank you!
If you are refering after baking, the clay has a kind of elasticity that doesn't allow to be broken. It needs to be baked well. Even moisture and water doesn't affect the clay, it can affect the surface if you put powders or paint.
I know this video was posted over 3 years ago, but I just now accidentally stumbled upon it & *W O W!* I've been looking at several different styles of crystals set into polymerclay, but since I'm STILL out of work because of Covid, I haven't been able to purchase anything. Then I see this!!! You make it look so easy! I mean, I wonder if I could make something on my own... Not as elaborate as this though! LOL! Of course, its quite evident from your finished Magickal Masterpiece that you've probably had A LOT of practice & have been creating beautiful things for quite some time! I just subbed to your channel but haven't even looked at anything other than this video so I'm hoping you have other process videos posted! ~🙏💙🙏With Much Graditude🙏💙🙏~
Hello Erica! Thank you so much for this beautfiyl comment! Welcome to our community and hope you find other interesting videos on our channel. We have other work in progress videos. We don't post as much as we should do but hopefully will upload more soon. Everyone can create using polymer clay. You should try if it intrigues you. Off corse it needs time and practice to become better but this is for everything in life. 😊 Best regards!
@@jujuboo1992 that would be great! In fact we are thinking to change the type of clay that we use! This one is very hard and difficult to work with. Let us know! 🤗💜
Amazing I like making things like charms and sometimes beads for necklaces out of polymer clay so I deffinatly need to try this! But one question. Do you glue the crystals in, and if so what do you use?
Thank you for your comment. It is better to use glue for the crystals to keep them more secure but you can also sculpt them make them entrapped. The glue type doesn't mater. Whatever super glue you have.
Beautiful piece of art...I love the fast motion...I have watched alot of videos and love how you made this one. The music is great too. You aren't chssing down tools that rolled off your table, or losing your "whatever" and then taking half the video to talk about how you lost it and can't find it so must muster up a way to do...whatever 🙄😉. You don't talk about your personal issues😬 or have to leave screen to let the cat out. Omg...this video is so refreshing...so much talent. Thanks. 😊 I will be a subscriber.
Thank you so much for your beautiful comment! It made our day! We enjoy concentrated content ourselves that's why our videos are made this way! We are so happy that also other people enjoy this kind of videos! 🤗💜
We use Cernit transparent varnish in matt or glossy. Sometimes we use Liguiq clay on the surface and bake again. The second one is more secure but takes away the glittery effect.
Hi! I love your artwork and thank you for sharing your process with us, i just would suggest to find a different camera angle so your hand is not blocking the view of the work you are doing at times! Just a friendly suggestion!
SmeRuci you should do more tutorials like this. I was searching for a video to show how to incorporate real stones with polymer clay. I'm new to the polymer clay. I have lots of tumbled stones and such that I would like to make bezels and frames for with polymer clay. All the other tutorials are polymer clay with fake cabochons.
LAURA'S WORLD it's the same process. You should just make sure that the stone is secured properly because polymer clay has also elasticity. The temperature of baking is very important. With a little practise and you are good to go. Wish you luck with your creations. Thank you for your comments. We are planning on making more videos. 😊
Can you tell me at what point you put it in the oven to bake? I didn't see in the video! Is it before or after you add the crystals and the mica powder? thank you
Hello Deborah! I bake it at 4:47 after I put the mica powder and the crystals. The polymer clay needs to be sticky so the powder can be attached. After you bake it you also seal the powder so it doesn't fade away.
Deborah you can cook them because the temperature is not so high. With the crystals I have used never had problems but I think some of them are more delicate.
Thank you! 😊 We don't have a good microphone in order to record. Also English is not our native language and at first we might sound funny but in the future we want to make voice overs...
Incredible work of art!
Spectacular job. I mainly just wire wrap but seeing this it makes me want to give it a try.

Very powerful as a symbol. Beautiful piece of art. Thanks for sharing xx
Thank you very much for watching and the beautiful words! 🙏
Super job
Thank you! 🥰❤
Muy original. Precioso!!!!!
after you bake it do you need to put a finisher on the mica powder?
Amazing! Do you recommend putting a finishing coat of some kind after baking to keep the paint and pigment from chipping? If so, what would you recommend? Thank you!
When the clay gets hard or dry, does it has chance to break? Does it need to keep away from moisture or water?

This is incredible. I've just started making pretty basic jewellery, but i'd absolutely love to try to make something like this.
Hello! Thank you for your comment! Just practice and you will become great at making jewelry! Wish you the best!
What clay do you recommend ???
We use Cernit. It is very good but it is quite hard. Have also tried Fimo and liked it as well.
@@SmeRuci_ I bought sculpey premo. I can report back to you how it works if you want ?

So beautiful 😍
Thank you very much!
If u put the stone and then bake it won’t it crack the stone ?
There are some crystals that are more fragile than others. For the most part the temp of the stove is not so high that it will crack the stone.
That's so beautiful
Thank you very much! 🙏💜

Hi!
This is so beautiful!
Do you bake it?
This is great! After you've baked at 4.47 what do you use to add the silver and gold?
We use acrylic colors and than a top coat.
what was the black shimmery powder you put on the clay? and did you bake it before or after that process?
It was make up powder. After applying the powder, we bake the clay! 😊
SmeRuci ok thank you! 😊
Awesome, thank you for sharing. I love this. Just wondering is it safe for gemstones to be baked?
In the temp that the clay is baked, they are safe. The only one I know that you can't bake is Selenite.
Que belleza =) hermosa piedras labradorita, amatista
Thank you for watching! 🤗🔮
What do you use to seal in the powder?
We use Cernit transparent varnish in matt or glossy. Sometimes we use Liguiq clay on the surface and bake again. The second one is more secure but takes away the glittery effect.

Thank you very much! You are totally right. Will try to do a better job while filming next time! :-)
Beautiful. How long did you bake it for?
LAURA'S WORLD this piece is quite slim and we baked it for 45 min. 😊
SmeRuci thank you so much for responding.

Thank you. In your opinion how should I secure the stone? With glue or just manipulate the clay?
Very nice.
Do you use glue to stick the crystal to the clay or is not necessary? Also what do you use as a "top coat"?
I used to fix it only with clay but now I also use glue. For top coat we use Cernit top coat in glossy and matte.
Oh my gosh, This is STUNNING!
What did you use to color the white clay? Is it a powder?
Did you bake it after you apply the color?
Jess Cheff hello! We use mica powders, pastel colors or even make up. We brush the powder before baking the clay.
Wow this is amazing
Thank you for watching! :-)
Thank you for your response! Wat about the effect on the crystals in the oven?
ELLY Dias the temp is not so high. You can also not put them but just imprint the shape and after baking, you glue them.
do you glue the crystals down before putting them on the clay?
It is best to put glue on the crystals so they are more secure. Clay has elasticity and they can pop out without glue.
Gorgeous
Thank you! 🤗💜

There could've been better music though the tutorial is cool
Well UA-cam has a very limited music selection...But see the bright side, it could have been worse! 😅
