OK Just bought one at Costco for $25. Instruction are poor. Here are my instructions:
Unit constantly displays temperature.
Test by holding down button in center until it beeps 1 time and release. It runs through display and beeps 4 times and then beeps 4 times again.
To check peak CO level during last 24 hours that is held in memory, press the button at the 4 o’clock position. (Note: peak level is cleared automatically every 24 hours).
To manually clear the CO peak level memory, hold down (press) button at the 4 o’clock position while the CO memory is being displayed, until you see clear. Once memory is cleared, current CO levels can be ascertained.
Only had mine less than a year mine keeps going off since the last two days but it's weird only at night but I don't have any heater at night
Why would a co detector give u the temperature of the room?
You should have shown how to view the peak CO level (during the last 24 hours) along with how to clear the memory so that you can ascertain the current CO level.
how do you put it on silence mode? i lost the manual and online isnt clear
It is 2021 and I am watching this video to stop my old CO2 alarm from chirpping. I have this model and put the prongs into the disabling holes but still kept chirpping. Then I saw where you turned on the switch by sliding the switch. I did the opposite and it turned off completely. Thanks so much! My Yorkies were freaking out.

i cant seem to find the switch ... this wont stop chirping
Mine only lasted about 18 months before it said END and started chirping 5 beeps. I will call Firat Alert to try and get a replacement since it said it should last 10 years. Manufacturer date code 2015 Oct 05.
First alert is a scam company.
Thank you to the commenters below who clarified how to check the peak CO level recorded by the alarm.
You press and release edge of round button at the 4 o'clock position. You can see embossed word "PEAK LEVEL'
on plastic. You may have to try a few spots near 4 o'clock. I don't know why First Alert did not spell that out in the instructions.
Temperature?
Mine just made a continuous beeping sound. Without stopping. It didn't chirp and sotp and chirp again. Does that mean it needs new batteries?

How do you check CO level via circular button?. Amazed how poorly documented the instructions are specially for a life saving product.
click the botton at the 4 o'clock position(kinda like in the bottom right)
