I'm guessing that you must have a pretty good wife who puts up with your B-36 obsession, judging by the fact that it literally takes up your garage. I bet I complain about the heat more than you do too - I'm in central NY, and my memory goes back to the mid-1960s and winters aren't what they used to be and summers are way worse than they used to be as far as heat goes. I now prefer the winter over the summer. Yesterday I was inside a B-29 and got some photos of it today as it flew almost directly over my house!
I was born in 1978 and before Nintendo came into my life in 1989, I was always unconditionally outside. I remember the occasional extremely hot days when the parents wouldn’t let us go outside, but this crap of it being an oven outside at the crack of dawn for 7 months of the year is insane. I know kids handle the heat different than me at 46, but give me a break.
Doesn’t your wife understand that when it’s done you’ll be able to take the whole family on trips around the world? Actually you could probably take the whole neighborhood; and all of their possessions too.
It matters not what I do. Whatever it is, I do too much of it. She’d be in for a terrible surprise if she ever discovered car guys, sports fans, hunters, fishermen and so on.
