I have 2 of them now, ran one of them on my 338 Lapua and it held zero and tracked amazing and took as much abuse as I could. I have been recommending them to friends
Hi LoneStarCarper! Glad you're having a good experience. I have to say that for the functionality and glass clarity, these are in my opinion the best sub $800 scopes out there, even though they're only $400, I'd put them in that higher category. Thanks for watching and the feedback my friend!
Looks like a great deal for the little amount of money they are selling for. Everyone knows how damn expensive decent to top notch scopes cost these days. One has to sell a kidney to be able to afford most of the good to top quality brands used in PRS matches these days. Appreciate your honest review. Cheers 🍻 🍻.
Hi CSH! Yeah, I really think we're paying for the name on a lot of this stuff now. This little scope is rock solid and there wasn't one thing I could say about it not being a great candidate for a PRS set up. On the other hand, I released another review of the Burris XTR PRO and it had a couple of downsides to it at 5x the cost of this scope. Thanks for watching my friend!
You know, I like your reviews and how everything is broken down to manageable segments. You stay on an idea and then move to the next. I am a beginner...or not yet begun PRS...I want to have something to do when I retire and this may be it. I have a Savage 110 Elite Precision 6.5 creedmoor in the box and waiting for my scope decision. Thank you for reviewing this scope sir and have a great day!
Hi RT2Do! Thanks for the kind words, and I agree that if you're just plinking, or hunting from say a blind, this scope makes perfect sense. Taking it on an elk hunt in Colorado, where it will be banged around? Not sure, maybe I'll do a follow-up where I throw the thing onto the ground a few times! But anyway, just having something to see if you like PRS, this would be a great option. Thanks for watching my friend!
thanks for the review of this scope. I ordered one to try and add to my shooting gear. I think its darn hard to justify high end scope prices depending on what you're doing nowadays when you have such good budget options. certainly I would love to have a higher tier or top tier scope but for what I do, makes no sense to have a 3 or 4k scope. for shooting steel?..lol or hunting, the deer or elk don't care if you're shooting them with a high end scope. I understand you get what you pay for mantra, but I can get by and plenty more with an arken, discovery, or low end vortex.
Hi Synapses! Totally agree with you here. And I'm really impressed with the thought that was put into this scope. You saw my review of the Burris, good scope, but they left out some very basic PRS functionality. This Discovery seems well built, and for an entry level scope, I think it's a good deal. Thanks for watching another one my friend!
Have you compared this scope side by side with Arken EP5? Interesting to see how they compare. I just bought my 3rd Arken and they are also well worth the price.
Hi TexasLarson! I haven't side by side, but I have looked through Arken scopes and agree with you that they are worth the price, especially for a beginner in PRS or for hunting situations. I just don't know enough about them from a sturdiness or longevity perspective. I'd love to compare the two though. Thanks for watching my friend!
Buyer Beware: discovery optics does not honor their warranty mine failed after only two years , turrets seized up, discovery says they won’t do anything, won’t even let me send it in, asks if I would like to buy a replacement, no more discovery optics products for me !!!!
Hi Plinking! I know you've had some issues with them. Do me a favor and send me the information to the3gunguy@gmail.com and I'll be happy to forward to my contact there. Hopefully I can help get you settled with them. I don't mind at all.

Illumination and PRS ? Didn't know I need one . Thanks for your time.
Hi CZ503! Yeah, don't need illumination, but it's a feature so thought I'd include it. Thanks for watching my friend!
