It really came full circle. Marcel, arguably Klaus's first child he raised as a son saving his baby sister. And yeah he wanted Klaus's blood, but he still acted on instinct to save the child like he always does regardless
So Marcel saved Haley’s Life, Davina’s life and Hope’s life, even all the problems between him and Klaus you can clearly see how he was a good person and how much Klaus loved him

How gentle and awe-struck Klaus was, holding baby Hope for the first time, looking into her eyes......what a moment of precious tenderness in the middle of all that terrifying pain.
I love that Klaus asked Marcel if he could hold her. Like, it wasn't exactly permission as she's his daughter and all, but there's just something about it that makes me smile. The fact that he asks if he can take her from him and they're both so gentle. Such an amazing moment between Father and his kids...
He didn't want to cut into the sibling bonding but he waited so long to hold his little girl. It was adorable the way they both were so gentle with her.

I always hated witches especially cuz through lore they alway kidnapped and ate innocent children sacrificing them to demons and ancestral spirits….I was pretty glad to see the squad to save hope
Depending on the source of their magic. Freya never had to sacrifice a child to evil ancestors for magic. That was just new Orland witches. The strix witch coven showed Davina that she doesn't have to use ancestors magic to have Magic. Ester used her magic to create the vampire spices and the hollow used Magic to create werewolves. Bonnie doesn't sacrifice innocent girls for her magic.
And specifically because if hope did not die, Genevieve would. She was awful and evil But that was a valid reason. She did not want to kill Hope but the ancestors were sick and had her bleeding out of her eyes when she begged them to let the baby live.
