I love the part when jack was trying to make a paper snowflake but he accidentally made a paper spider and his reaction to the look on jack's face make me smile all the time.
You know, this film was originally released by Touchstone Pictures in 1993 (the same company that made "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and "Down and Out in Beverly Hills"), until it was fully distributed by its own parent company Walt Disney Pictures in 2006, when it returned to theaters in 3D.
This is actually the scene before jacks obsession, this is "Experiments", they cut out grabbing the candy cane from zero's bowl and tasting it, choosing the tool for the bear operation up to the time the bear is cut, and the sandyclaws part. It isn't really anything major, just enough to make it work with the final score.
The music is from the "The Witches of Eastwick" (1987) composed by John Williams, the films visual effects were done by ILM. Jack Nicholson, Susan Sarandon Michelle Pfeiffer, and Cher are in film, it was a huge hit.
This whole scene was with the "Jack's Obsession" song, if I recall correctly... and I rent this movie every Halloween, and I remember all of it except the Santa-lobster thing, lol.
Yes it was in there. Jack tasting the candy cane before he boiled it, the Sandy Claws drawing, and Jack looking through a variety of tools before picking the scapel were not in the film. The rest of it was.
*huggles extra scenes* Man, I love how they say "cut because of time" Its weird because back in the day standard movie time was 90 mintes...Now its 120, haha.
I like the music in this scene. It's a shame it's not in the final version of the film. I think probably because it was deemed too dark and scary for children to hear.
I watched it on a TV stream thing, idk, but it had that scene, lock shock and barrels deleted scene, a part when Oogie boogie apparently is doctor finklestien? Lol
I have both the DVD and VHS and when the DVD said this was a deleted screen it confused me because I've watched the VHS version all my life and saw nothing new. It makes sense now
Thats just really showing the whole thing not just the deleted parts. (getting the candy cane out of zero's bowl)(where he was looking at the knive and tools)(and the "sandy claws" part)
NOW OLD ON A FRIGGIN SECOND......when i watched this movie on VHS when i was a little kid (and i still have this VHS mind you) all of those scenes were in the movie except for the spinning chalkboard of sandy claws (the santa with claws) was the chalkboard part the only deleted scene or was the whole thing a deleted scene?
Mariah Young-gonzales Not the lobster Santa experiment. Also you haven’t seen jack grab the candy cane from zeros bowl or jack unrolling his many surgical instruments.
Uhm... I have the original VCR, and all this is there, except, when he rotates the santa clause/ sandy claws he had a mathmatical equation. Other than though, all of it was there
Deleted Scenes: Chalkboard scene, where he's coming up the stairs, and the part where he's choosing the tools to cut the bear. So don't flip about it. They are really there :P
@nerdsman567 because this is stop motion animation. this is a movie is just a whole bunch of pics put in fast speed. each movement is one pic. like putting the arm down might take like 6 pics to make it look right. that's y this movie is flawless. so this will take a butt load of time to do. and the dead line for the movie might have been approaching and they might have to do some more reviewing and editing. so they might had to hurry put to meet it. i hope that explains it.
all of these scenes are in my copy except the one with the Santa clause drawings so i think maybe the newer copies took out that one scene, but the rest of these were in there.
All you "its not cut out of the movie" people.... pay attention to life, its the extended version of the scene before it was cut for time, watch the movie again, the whole scene isn't in the movie, just most of it... so quit complaining!
I like the reaction of jack's face when his experiements failed
1:10 my fave is here
1:08 my favorite was here
1:08 That spider-flake got me! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love the part when jack was trying to make a paper snowflake but he accidentally made a paper spider and his reaction to the look on jack's face make me smile all the time.
Jack Skellington is one of the best characters ever created, period :D
You know, this film was originally released by Touchstone Pictures in 1993 (the same company that made "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and "Down and Out in Beverly Hills"), until it was fully distributed by its own parent company Walt Disney Pictures in 2006, when it returned to theaters in 3D.
Yes

The only one that’s different is when he spins the crab/Santa picture!
This song creeps me out simply because I used to be terrified of this movie lol. Now it's one of my favorites.
only one of the experiments isn't in the movie!
music...
I the paper
Yeah only one of the experiments isnt un the movie.
The music is from the "The Witches of Eastwick" (1987) composed by John Williams, the films visual effects were done by ILM. Jack Nicholson, Susan Sarandon
Michelle Pfeiffer, and Cher are in film, it was a huge hit.
17 people disliked because jack skellington scared them last halloween.
My Favorite part is where Jack lights the candle 1:30!
He licked the candy cane. He has a tongue. *but what does it mean*
For real does he have organs or not.
That’s not what hearts are for but ok
Hearts are for breathing kindness is for love
But I like how you we’re very creative with that 😊
Jessie Lol pop I’m the same person lol
It's cursed that's what it means
Well he canonically has 5 skeleton children so-
So.. it's been 15 years since I watched this on 2017 but now I'm still watching it
It's just nice to see how was he doing or how funny his making!
Bless him! Jack Skellington is the best thing ever created, I swear to anything I can think of.
1:36
Aha. Haha. Get it? Sandy Claws?
oh and i'm loving the background music here~
This whole scene was with the "Jack's Obsession" song, if I recall correctly... and I rent this movie every Halloween, and I remember all of it except the Santa-lobster thing, lol.
Aww.. Zero is the most beautiful dog I've ever seen O:)
Thanks for this!
OOOO DIFFERENT VOICE ACTOR HELLO THERE
CAUGHT ME OFF GUARD
nah, different take.
Yes it was in there. Jack tasting the candy cane before he boiled it, the Sandy Claws drawing, and Jack looking through a variety of tools before picking the scapel were not in the film. The rest of it was.
Great animation. Probably the best ever.
I'd been looking for that. Thank you.
lol the sandy claws flip pic was cool xD wish they kept that in the movie
everything in here is on the VHS except for the chalkboard crab santa drawing
i agree..this scene is in the movie..i have the original dvd at home and it shows the true deleted scenes..love the nightmare b4 christmas!:D
I remember going to this movie when I was 7 and it was 1st released...Now I'm close to 25. oye! XD
At 1:58 - insert frustrated scream here :D
JACK'S A MAGICIAN! :D
Notice how the tools seem to appear inside his bag as he opens it. OwO I lol'd.
Also, his face at 0:57 and 1:07 XD
TRUE but I dont know if it mensajes that
0:57 1:07
This music is wonderful. I love this cut.
*huggles extra scenes* Man, I love how they say "cut because of time" Its weird because back in the day standard movie time was 90 mintes...Now its 120, haha.
I love it when these people make videos and record dialogue they got from either Wikipedia or IMDB. Great job on your “content.”
I Am No One the voice is director henry sellick tho
i KNEW i had heard that music before!!Great movie!!!! Great casting!
Lol
1:05 jacks reaction is just funny
1:05
I remember watching this deleted scene on a bonus DVD of Tim Burton's classic Disney holiday horror musical film, when I was about 8 years old.
Jack is simply ahead of his time - just ask anyone from Futurama.
It seems the only part I don't remember in the movie was the "Santa/Crab?" spinning calkboard gag. Everything else I do remember.
Except for the little sequence with the spinning chalkboard I remember all of this being on the VHS I bought way back when.
Just so you know, this is what they call the "Extended Scene". The scene IS in the movie, only shorter. Listen to the music. It sounds temp at first.
I know! Best Jack Skellington-based laugh I've ever had!
This is confusing my brain, I know I see The Nightmare Before Christmas, but my ears hear Pirates of the Caribbean
This scene IS still in the movie. Not the entire thing, but it is still in it.
Nice workprint soundtrack
thumbs up if you tried to make that spider snowflake thing XD
I have the VHS as well. And the DVD. My Grandmother first bought it on VHS when I was very young and let me watch it all the time.
I have both the DVD and VHS and when the DVD said this was a deleted screen it confused me because I've watched the VHS version all my life and saw nothing new. It makes sense now
Considering the movie is that short in time already, not even an hour and a half, i’m suprrised they cut anything
0:12 my favorite part
The sequence was short because some best gags had to be cut out of the movie because of time.
yeah, I just saw the movie, and that drawing and the music=the only difference :/ (oh well, thnx 4 posting anyhoo, htalabis9)
For every minute of stop motion, it took a week for the crew to make.
Thats just really showing the whole thing not just the deleted parts.
(getting the candy cane out of zero's bowl)(where he was looking at the knive and
tools)(and the "sandy claws" part)
I swear these scenes are on the dvd version i have
how was this cut for time...the movie is like soo short, why? but on another note i do love the witches of eastwick theme in the background of this
1:48 Crumbled an ornament into tiny little pieces and into the flask it goes.
Nice stop motion animation
0:33 I know what he's planning to do with that holly berry.
"Jack is so cute and handsome"
I know! lol
:D~
yes, this scene is in the movie, but it was shorter and some of the things you see in here are cut out.
NOW OLD ON A FRIGGIN SECOND......when i watched this movie on VHS when i was a little kid (and i still have this VHS mind you) all of those scenes were in the movie except for the spinning chalkboard of sandy claws (the santa with claws) was the chalkboard part the only deleted scene or was the whole thing a deleted scene?
mega48man he just means they were shorten and one was cut.
I had the full scene on my VCR except for the sandy claws part.
I wonder if ornaments can really glow like that :D
Sandy Claws, Santa Clause. I imagine he was trying to figure out who or what Santa really is.
That song... it's "Devil's Dance" from Witches of Eastwick!
John Williams-Witches of Eastwick soundtrack
Used with permission from Warner Brothers to the Disney company
0:39 Interesting studying on that berry
I agree with the comment below this. Everypart of that was in the actual movie, except for the "santa crab" thingy. And the music was different.
I just love the part where he makes a spider instead of a Snowflake
Lol lobster man.
0:57 Candy cane go limp as a noodle 😂😂
This might just be me but I've seen all of these
Mariah Young-gonzales
Not the lobster Santa experiment. Also you haven’t seen jack grab the candy cane from zeros bowl or jack unrolling his many surgical instruments.
A real 'deleted' scene as I don't remember seeing this scene in the movie.
Uhm... I have the original VCR, and all this is there, except, when he rotates the santa clause/ sandy claws he had a mathmatical equation. Other than though, all of it was there
_The Witches of Eastwick_ temp scoring here 🎼
I think the music used in this scene is from the trailer to Hook.
Jake Rutigliano No, it's from Witches of Eastwick.
He was close. Both film scores were done by John Williams.
0:41 Then THIS happens 😂😂😂
Deleted Scenes:
Chalkboard scene, where he's coming up the stairs, and the part where he's choosing the tools to cut the bear.
So don't flip about it. They are really there :P
great nightmare before christmas 1993 film - deleted scenes #1 - (exclusive ) !!!!
i LOL'd at the lobster santa xD
I reconise the music from the witches of eastwick, Sweet!
Yes it is
I like the song in this deleted scene. does anyone know where i can find it? i tried looking on 'Jack And Sally Montage' song from my CD but no luck
This is actually in the movie so yeeaahh... Maybe cause I have the full length VHS.
I never noticed before that he tastes the candy cane.
Well, this is the original. Not by much though, only a few parts are missing in the final version.
yea 24 frames a second,
24 shots,
probably 5 sec. shotings per day
my god thats chaos
Boi i had this in dvd
When did these scenes get deleted? I saw them as part of the movie. Did they delete them for dvd releasel or something?
I wish I can find an instrumental version of this.
all of these scenes are in my copy except the one with the Santa clause drawings so i think maybe the newer copies took out that one scene, but the rest of these were in there.
@Nathanplaincool
I still don't get it. What does the santa crab have to do with it. I saw that in the original release.
i like the music whats it called? or is it
part of it?
I've seeen all of this before... oh well! And don't you think Zero is a little ticked because Jack melted his candy cane? I know I would be....
THIS WHOLE SCENE WAS IN THE MOVIE!!!!! just with different music
All you "its not cut out of the movie" people.... pay attention to life, its the extended version of the scene before it was cut for time, watch the movie again, the whole scene isn't in the movie, just most of it... so quit complaining!
This was actually in the movie in CD.
the chalkboard was the only thing that wasn't in the movie.
Wow only the sandy claws part was really deleted also the part where he chooses the knife but that was it not really anything else.
nikscoolduh is right. Perhaps they cut it out on the dvd?
haha when it cuts the paper to make it look like a snowflake and it comes out as a spider jack is like WTF?
