The truth about the Glen Waverley line is you know your on it when every single possible time everything on it explodes it does. and the train has to “unexpectedly” terminate at Burnley.
If you're already uncomfortable with the rugged and mountainous Belgrave line combined with the poor suspension of the X'trapolis, do not proceed to Gembrook. I've been on the billy twice, it rained water in every form on my second visit, but I thoroughly enjoyed both visits.
Can confirm between Westall and Dandenong is 12/10 sketchy. Police checks, trespassers and equipment getting stolen are monthly occurrences. As a V/Line customer on the Traralgon line who goes to the city daily, this is a regular occurrence. Maybe someone from Frankston can challenge me on it being the worst part of the state lol. There was one time back in February where a trespasser was at Springvale and either stole or destroyed equipment, causing all Pakenham & Cranbourne trains to be cancelled that afternoon right at peak hour, Metro eventually got one train at Flinders Street for like 1500 people at once, which had to stop at Caufield, we then had to go onto another train from Caufield to Oakleigh, and then wait at Oakleigh for either a bus to Dandenong, or eventually a train since there was so many people by the time I got to the front of the line for a bus they were running trains again, so I had to hop onto that one, and change again at Dandenong to get on a Pakenham train, and then change again at Pakenham to get on a V/Line train to get home. I’d say it was the worst experience of my life but on the way back home I got chatty with a girl and got her number, she had just come in from QLD to VIC for the first time and this was the experience she got as well since she was headed to Bairnsdale, so it could be worse lol.
100%. Always delays for the same usual reasons. And yes, I remember that day. Someone/people allegedly stole some copper near the Sandown Park during the middle of the night. Was one of the worst delays in recent times. At least you found a silver lining in getting a girls number and helping time go faster by chatting to her haha
I was once coming home from the city at night on a Glenny train get a bloke looks completely out of place. No mask, covered in tats and piercings, wearing TNs a nike cap and carrying a Woolies bag he turns to me and asks does this train go to boronia
cranbourne line isn't bad at all from sandown park to Dandenong its bad but beyond Dandenong its fine not to mention the abandoned south Gippsland line beyond Cranbourne
my cousin dropped me off at nunawading station and i’ve never rode the lilydale or belgrave line before and when i did i had never felt so uncomfortable
"Never a dull moment at Sunshine Station", so true!
Lol

Lol
Let's be real, the only thing that saved the Frankston line from being 13/10 is how quite the trains are
Can thank 10 min frequency for that lol
@@StrayaTrains Maybe that's y they have the 10 min frequency 😂

I remember that day too, thank god that I took the 901 from Frangga to Dandy
1:29 that is sounding very familiar to the Sydney network… except in Sydney it’s 3 signal defects in the CBD stations lol
You know your on the St Albans wait - Sydenham Watergardens? Oh Sunbury line Line when at St Albans you’ve waited 11 years for a Bendigo service
I use the Hurstbridge line and I can tell you that it is very scary going on That wooden bridge when departing into Eltham
Legit
I once took a train to pakenham and it was really crowded. And not even 5 minutes in I caught some lady trying to take my phone out of my pocket.
Awful
Complaining about the Dandenong group? I once got shoved to the ground before touching off at Dandenong Station.

you know when your on the caulfield group when all you see is teenage eshays vaping and trying to through hands at everyone
Lol
and attempting to vault over the myki barriers, failing and having to ask the station staff to let them out
for the upfield line you should've said how almost every station on the first half looks the same (anstey, brunswick, jewell, etc)
nah Edithvale, Chelsea and BonBeach

There u go! Although now thats a bit outdated as feels like usually a few people each carr not wearing a mask on the Glen Line
As a lilydale line user I can’t relate aha as a teenager there’s so much beef there and it just stays there
Haha :)

Sounds about right. Thats normal for most lines lol
most useless station in 2022: Willison. Main reason: No one uses and its 400M from the more popular Riversdale
Fax
lol yeah, the speakers just put on 'Now Arrving at Willison' before the train even passes the Riversdale carpark.
