When I was a kid, I had lofty dreams of becoming a world-renowned chef. I loved being in the kitchen, watching cooking shows, and experimenting with different recipes and flavors. The idea of creating delicious dishes that brought people joy was incredibly appealing to me. However, life had other plans, and instead, I found myself in a very different role - that of a General Manager of Merchandising.
As I progressed in my career, I had the opportunity to work for various retailers and exporters. Each with its own unique challenges and target markets. From high-end fashion to big retail stores, I honed my skills in visual merchandising, product placement, and inventory management. It was a continuous learning experience that kept me on my toes and pushed me to think outside the box.
Meanwhile, my love for cooking never waned. I continued to explore new recipes and techniques in my free time, I always took treats to office colleagues I could, and those happy smiley faces has given me utmost joy! Cooking remained my creative outlet, a way to unwind and express myself through the art of food preparation.
This is a Story of how I ended up in becoming a DMM in Merchandising , starting from bottom and reaching the highest title in this career, both in Export and Retail Market.
I have no regrets!., Happy for who I am Today ! Yet I peruse my dream. Cooking is just an Art, and I enjoy it very much. Age is just a number and counting on it !
