What did they do to the wood floor?
Wow how long did the repipe take? Great job. Great tip on the old PVC- another great video. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching. It’s not bad 6 to 8 hours. Just depends. Stinks someone took good copper just to scrap it at my expense.
I like the stub out tip; it makes things clean.
What are the jacks against the beams in the basement for? Are they used to push the bow out of the wall? I thought you would need to excavate the dirt on the other side of the wall to move it back.
I like the stub outs.
Yes pushing bowing wall. Yes dirt is removed. Will show more in next few videos.
What in the F happened to those wood floors? Looks like a crime scene. Well, it is a crime to trash them like that. Oh, so you aren't going to subscribe to me. 🤔 Mkay. 🙄
I’m definitely a subscriber! I like to watch people work when I’m not working. Haha 😂
I would definitely demolish the garage, be careful because some municipalities will require you to rebuild a new one that happened to me. Nice series of videos.
Interesting they required u to rebuild. Wow!
@@handylandlord Yes, they did tore down a two car garage that was rotted away and had to build a new two car garage in it's place.
Get rid of the garage and put a car port on the concrete slab. Maybe?
Was thinking basketball court and spot lights for all neighborhood kids. Maybe that was my dream when I was a kid. Haha
Yeah that sounds really good!@@handylandlord
Hardwoods like that. We prep like you do then hit them with a light sanding. If any deep gouges, we might fill with wood putty. We then paint with exterior latex, usually a dark brown, two coats if needed. Then we put two coats of poly on top of the paint. Seems to hold up really well. If the resident messes up a spot, we spot sand and repaint and poly that area. It was killing me to sand, stain, poly hardwoods and have them get messed up (and they always mess them up). Painting saves a ton of $$$ and time. The housing authorities think they look great and don't care. The residents think they look great and don't care. If we ever sell the house and need to take it back to the wood, we'll just have somebody come and strip and sand them and refinish.
Good tip. Maybe I will use this method on a property I just started turning. Thanks for sharing.
@@handylandlord What's your email. I'll send you a link to a move in video of one we painted.
