I'm LD for a div 1 6's team, and we run the exact same offensive and defensive structure. Extremely well played and well explained. You do a great job of being an absolute pest without overcommiting.
Would be cool to see a video where you cover the most important elements of defense in 6v6 with clips to illustrate your points rather than a live format where you can't cover anything with much depth. Good vid though.
I've done those in the past but they don't do very well and it takes longer for me to edit and post them. Live content allows me to post more frequently and it's raw footage of how I play instead of selected clips that show only the better plays. I do however, break down full games when I'm livestreaming if you're interested in checking those out.
I play this way as a Dman and sometimes I get someone on the mic saying I shouldn’t join up on the rush. Even when I come back and back check or, if I join the rush in the neutral zone and then break and sit back at the blue line.
I wouldn't worry about those guys. If you have a forward that's back and you can join the rush, then join the rush. Especially if it creates an odd man rush. All lanes should be filled so if you see an opportunity to fill and the forwards not there, you have every right to fill that spot, and that forward needs to play back.

It's all preference and doesn't actually affect gameplay but my skating style is all set at 75. Skating stride is 3. Shooting style is also 3.

Power forward with truc. sniper with close quarters. Playmaker with elite edges. Those would be what I would use.
