While the Gateway dirt Nationals are a very big deal, and something to be proud of, Nothing Compares 2 winning $100,000 at Eldora. The sheer numbers of top-notch competition, the half-mile of hi banked dirt, and the size of the crowd make the dream the crown jewel of dirt track racing.

Thing with Tyler is he’s perfectly fine with taking his car home in a bunch of trash bags. So he’s willing to put the car in situations he probably shouldn’t if he thinks it’ll gain him a half tenth and don’t care if he wads himself or someone else up and usually does just that. He’s fun to watch as long as you’re not one the guys having to fix the carnage he leaves behind. If he would calm the hell down he can wheel with the best of them but he’d rather beat every panel off the car instead

Tyler has proven he can wheel with the “big boys.” He needs to grow in to the top level now. Let your driving do the talking. Ditch the fowl language and keep up the level of performance and you’ll be picked up in a big money ride. Great story! Love the emotion!

I was pulling for Tyler again in 2022 he didn't win it but finished very well, as usual he did much better than Gordy Gundaker. with the exception of a heat race that Tyler got taken out of. that he was winning. Gordy placed 2nd in a 3 car race. so I guess that's Gordy's normal spot. 2nd to last? 🤣
