Quentin didn't answer about the affair because he was busy dying. Portia was simply being distracted and kept at a distance from the actual crime.

I think Greg was the cowboy in Wisconsin that was straight as an arrow, and Quentin couldn't have. I think they kept in touch over the years and planned everything. The gays would help him kill Tanya, and get a big payout in return.

This was such a hard episode to watch, the tension and the stress she went through was insane, and takes the audience with it. Her acting is so incredible and has so many layers I am in love with the way she portrays Tanya, the immense fear, confusion, being stuck, betrayed yet still being Tanya at her core asking if Greg is having an affair, such a dark tense moment with this twisted way of humor the writers had written and she makes it come alive in such a powerful way. This episode put me in depression to be honest. I hope she gets more great roles, because she is such a joy to watch. P.S. American Horror Story needs Coolidge's level of divinity and dramatic acting to get back to its core power of its first seasons.
I absolutely broke down when she died. Totally heartbroken. I can’t stand injustice like this, she deserved so much more. What a tragic and horrible end to such a wonderful character.
It’s tragic but also where could she have gone after this whole affair? Even tho she was setup, she got the final laugh because she killed all of her enemies and the authorities will probably be onto Greg soon enough I’d like to think in her final moments, she found some bliss because in season one, it’s clear she was spiraling and no amount of sex, White Lotus vacations, money or gay men throwing out parties could fill that hole in her heart and now she’s rested at sea like the ashes of her mom

As much as this scene was hilarious, because Coolidge makes everything hilarious , it was equally just as dark. The shooting scene actually scared me, mainly for Tanya. Her fight or flight instincts kicked in which at that moment made her more human than any other moment I’ve seen her, in both season 1 and 2 of White Lotus

If she had just held it together a little longer and had been able to get in the small boat, she would have lived. Jennifer Coolidge is funny, but she's also a really fine actress.

The way I went from laughing my ass off to crying to laughing again is such a testament to Jennifer Coolidge. As much as I love Aubrey Plaza and her performance this season, I think Jen just won the Emmy with this scene. (Also someone pls make a Watcha Say edit with this scene)
The balance between black comedy and raw drama is pristine, notice there's zero music tone indicator or pompous editing. Jennifer's performance is excellent and commanding.
I 100% KNEW Greg was bad news from the moment he appeared in season one acting like he mistook Tanya’s room for his. Scammers are always lurking in and around fancy hotels looking for single older women to scam. The hot younger dude who asked to sit next to her at the pool was a scammer/escort too. And all that coughing Greg was doing was most likely a lie to get Tanya’s sympathy (and money). Everything that man said and did was a red flag but Tanya was too naïve, trusting, and lonely to see it.
Yeah when you think about it, you kinda retrospectively put all the pieces together and figure out Greg had really been planning this from the beginning

I was ready for the character to get snatched away then, but then she started shooting. And from that moment on I couldn't sit back down. My best friend was with me and he grabbed my leg when the shooting started. What an amazing, dark fight or flight moment.

I noticed that they can totally bring back the dead characters if they do the next season in the past. We are able to see more of the character but also know how their life will end.

The photo in The lovers room of Greg and him 3. The phone records between Greg and his lover 4. They will most likely find the assistant and question her since she was the last person who called Tanya based on her call records So when they do all that investigating Greg will most likely serve life in prison and not get a dime of her money. They will prove he was apart of the murder and planned it for her will money. They won’t let that one slide. He left as a cover and his cover will be blown. Who leaves their wife in a foreign county with their boyfriend? They will find out

With Portia she actually expressed concern for her at times and was trying to be considerate of her as they spent more time together. She wasn't some horrible monster, she was narcissistic, but she could've developed in that way.

I saw Jennifer's speech at the Golden Globes and I knew she would die, but damn it was crushing to see it anyway. Tanya suffered A LOT throughout both seasons. Glad she passed away quickly.
If there's season 3 it would be boring without Jennifer Coolidge. It's a missed opportunity , Tanya is the VVIP of White Lotus I mean the series not the hotel.
This scene was so serious but after all of that when she asked the dying man if Greg was having an affair I burst out laughing. Even for her I wasn't expecting that.
I think the show runners will live to regret killing her off. Jennifer Coolidge has really helped make this series in a lot of ways, and keeping her as a recurring character in the background throughout future seasons as much as the writers see fit would have given us the best of both worlds. I dunno. I guess this is life, though. You shoot everybody on the boat who's trying to kill you after a lifetime of clutzy maladies, and then you slip and crack your skull open and die. Sigh.

I saw Jennifer's speech at the Golden Globes and I knew she would die, but damn it was crushing to see it anyway. Tanya suffered A LOT throughout both seasons. Glad she passed away quickly.
If there's season 3 it would be boring without Jennifer Coolidge. It's a missed opportunity , Tanya is the VVIP of White Lotus I mean the series not the hotel.

This scene was so serious but after all of that when she asked the dying man if Greg was having an affair I burst out laughing. Even for her I wasn't expecting that.
I think the show runners will live to regret killing her off. Jennifer Coolidge has really helped make this series in a lot of ways, and keeping her as a recurring character in the background throughout future seasons as much as the writers see fit would have given us the best of both worlds. I dunno. I guess this is life, though. You shoot everybody on the boat who's trying to kill you after a lifetime of clutzy maladies, and then you slip and crack your skull open and die. Sigh.
HORRIFYING SCENE! I was at the edge of my seat watching this. Somehow I thought she would make it out alive but what a fucking stupid way to die. The writers could’ve done so much better.
