I filter my tap water using zero water filter. It makes the tds meter show 0 and the water tastes good. Is it fine? Should i check the pH using the test strip or the drops ?
Water with a 0 TDS reading means there are no minerals in the water. In your case, pH testing is less significant than replacing zero water water with a water that has a higher mineral TDS.
That's a good question. We've never tried the drops on something like skin cream. Don't see why it wouldn't work considering the creams have a liquid base, but only one way to find out!
Acid reflux tends to be one of the biggest immediate symptoms. All you have to do is add a small pinch of baking soda to any drink in order to alkalize the Ph level. It even works with Coffee and it's tasteless.
So when we casually use the terms acidic vs basic, that’s not the same as acidic vs alkaline? What is the correct way to say the opposite of alkaline? I’m sorry it these are really dumb questions...
Hi Stephen. Those aren't dumb questions. Acid vs base would be a better way to contrast simply to avoid the confusion the "alkaline" water industry has caused. At the end of the day your body needs minerals. Something to actually buffer the acidic compounds. That's why it's important to make sure the "alkaline" water isn't just high pH...it also needs the minerals to support that pH.
We use drops to test alkaline water. They work much better. Strips are designed for body fluids. You can find the drops here. vitev.com/collections/accessories/products/ph-drops
So I bought a product that claimed to have minerals in it. If I tested the product's ph with strips and it came back acidic, then its basically bad right?
Not necessarily. A more accurate determination of is it bad or not would be to figure out the concentration of the minerals in your product. There are mineral waters like Gerolsteiner that have a mineral ppm of around 1800. Much of that being bicarbonate, which is very good for you. But it's pH is typically less than 6. The natural CO2 also in the water causes the acidic pH, but the amount of minerals you'd be consuming is beneficial.
Thank you for making this video, so helpful!
you made sence of all the different finding people get but hydrogen is water , h20 and oxygen so ? how do you measure

Do PH test drops work on testing skincare creams (diluted or not)?

What are some symptoms of high acidity urine and how can you make it more alkaline. I really need to know, thank you so much.

Do you use ph testing strips or those ph drops stuff and where could you buy them?

@@OldGuy70s A bit too early. Thanks though!

This is more about the water than a comparison between testing strips and drops.
Because the water's properties are what causes different results between the drops and the strips.
1:55 clarifies it closely what each method is actually testing.
