Awesome snack video. I was on my sawmill today and to my surprise, that ole pine log had quite a bit of tension and stress in it but I managed to get some pretty good 1 3/4 x 5 3/4" boards at 16' long.
Outfit had a big Miller welder with a Kuboda motor. It'd fade out and we'd take the filter off and beat out the rye in the red fuel out of it and it'd run fine for a while. Bus Motor likes it's fuel. Good going and happy weekend and Blessings to yall!
You can get a pack of heavy duty ziplock bags ... mine came with a pump to suck the air out. I use them for storing filters and suck on my boat Put them in there, suck the air out and stuff will stay good for years. when you need one, open the bag and take it out But you can re seal them and suck the air out again .... great for storing PLA for 3D printers as well.
Mark when you go to buy your new fuel filter, buy two, one for the machine and one for a spare as you usually need them when in a hurry and do not have time to run to town, and then they may not even have them !!! Been there do that !!! I have a spare for all my machines !! !
We used to run a V6-71 in our tractor, and the thing that would plug a filter the fastest is water. We installed a water separator between the tank and the engine. Max H. retired farmer.

This certain sawmill does bengkirai wood. This wood is a dense durable hardwood that comes the Shorea laevis tree, which is native to Southeast Asia. This wood is 50% stronger than oak! They're massive trees. 30 inches to 48 inches wide. Yellow, red, & white species of these trees. They have other interesting species of trees too. Thanks Mark. Say Hi to Ed & ZZ. We had a rough week too Mark .. hyd problems with the log turner it kept going in limp mode then out of it on its own had all kinds of people in to fix it still not sure if the problem is fixed Hope you get your fuel prices blend sorted out Have a good weekend
If you install a glass jar water separator before the filter you will see if its water and therefore bacteria that is the problem. The presence of water is why the bacteria can grow. The warmer the fuel and outside temperature is the more bacteria is produced. With a fuel tank that is above ground it becomes worse still as the warm air in the tank cools down when the engine is not running, especially overnight and the moisture in the air condenses into the fuel as water and builds up over time. I was with the maintenance team on a fleet of 250 Detroit powered vehicles and bacteria in the fuel was a constant problem. We had to dose our tanks with a diesel biocide to get it under control.
If the stuff in your fuel filter is black you probably have bacteria growth in the fuel tank. I don't know what your fuel plumbing system is but Detroit Diesels recirculate their fuel in a closed loop system, and it warms up the fuel to the point where bacteria will grow in the lower portions of the tank, and it is very good at clogging filters. The smaller the fuel tank the worse the problem is. There are additives that can prevent it but if it is the tank will need cleaned first.
If it weren't for bad days you would never know when you were having a good day. Please move the Picture in Picture to the right corner, it blocks the dial so we can't see the the numbers.
or just remove the PIP , it does not add to the experience. rather put that second camera facing the saw, the other one toward the chewy and pick which video you like in editing.
Had a thought traffic light colors for the dogs green at the tooth however wide is safe for sawing yellow and you already have the red that may be a constant reminder
No matter what kind of machine you have, sometimes you will have some sadness. Fuel filter fortunately is an easier fix I hope. ( It is on our tractors anyway).

A half-dirty filter filters better than a new one. A plugged up filter is hard on the fuel system, and the power output, lean, hotter combustion !
