You actually can, because it can be a leave in or a rinse out. I use it as a leave in and my waist length hair is thriving 😊. I’m now using their olive oil deep conditioner mask as my deep conditioner on wash day and I love it! My hair no longer tangles after rinsing. Before that, I was using design essentials deep conditioner but my hair was starting to matte up every time I rinsed it out and I got tired of dealing with that, so I made the switch to Africas Best originals and it’s amazing with its results!
