    one of my fav deep conditions. after my protective styles I keep in for months at a time, I always follow up with this mild protein conditioner to help strengthen my hair after being braided up for so long

    Now yall. I typically use this product as a prepoo..but I did the castor oil prepoo this day.
    Upcoming hair videos: Whole Blend Leave-in, Suave Rosemary conditioner, aloe vera gel prepoo, and Alikay Naturals vs Jane Carter leave in. I wanted to order some products through Amazon..but it's too hot right now so I'm trying to find products locally.

    I used this hair mayonnaise for the first time today and it made my hair very soft.

    I remember using it. And I felt like my hair cuticles were closed too tightly. (It could be because of the silicones leaving a film on my hair) But I did rinse it out with cool/cold water when I think it said to use warm water. But I didn't follow up with a moisturizing conditioner.
    But I liked it putting it on my hair ends with my other leave in.

    I love this conditioner. I use it in pair with my deep conditioner for 5-10 min after my clay mask treatment. i dont like staying under the dryer long so im under the dryer with the clay for 30 min but under the dryer wit both conditioners for only another few minutes as stated :)

    Recently, I washed my hair and used the mayo and followed up with the Aussie Moist rinse-out conditioner. I noticed there was a huge difference between my hair from last week when I just used the Aussie conditioner alone. The mayo made my hair feel rougher even after rinsing out the Aussie moist. But when I applied my leave in conditioner, my hair returned to normal and soften up a bit.
    I think I had been suffering from breakage, probably from moisture overload, and my detangling brush was snagging on those broken hairs (especially on my ends)
    I might need to use the mayo on my next wash day but I'm trying to avoid protein overload.

      I think I might had overdone. I'm not sure if its because of the silicone or protein. But using both the mayo and Aussie moist made my hair too *sleek* (due to the film it left behind) which makes it hard for my leave-in and other products to penetrate afterward. I think using a hair steamer might had helped. But I did planned on blowing out my hair so it worked out fine.

      It seems I should try waiting 2 weeks before doing the African mayo again and by less heavyhanded.

    I was wondering about this treatment, because I have a tiny foil packet, enough to do 1/10th of a treatment (LOL - I have thick hair). I think I'll put some regular conditioner or a mask with it and leave it in for a number of minutes, then rinse out. I might try this when I am through my current mask (3 or 4 more uses I think). We'll see. It's not going anywhere. It's been sitting here for a while, and I was wondering. Thank you for the review!!!

    The boy could lack home discipline or he could be add, adhd or whatever. Although he should not be hitting other kids, the child is probably not getting taught how to handle his feelings the right way so he lashes out and throws tantrums and his parents probably let him at home so when he gets to school its no different

    • @annettemint
      @annettemint  7 років тому +12

      You know what come to find out the child is special needs. I didn't even know they allowed them to be in the same room. He's transferred to another school where he's doing much better...according to his grandparents.

      annettemint thats good. Im surprised they were in the same class also. Kids that age USUALLY dont really understand stuff like that anyway, so it could be such a distraction to them

      I rarely shampoo after using a hair mayonnaise..If anything I may use a conditioner because basically your using a mild protein treatment.
