Yeah, i also. I havent seen this vid before, but anything with Lee just talking about anything historical or musical or arcane and occult interests, i am always very entertained as i grew up as a little kid watching his horror and supernatural movies and i always enjoy hearing him speak on various subjects. Im always still so amazed at his work and interests in Metal music. I mean, i guess it shouldnt be surprising really, but i knew he was into baroque and classical symphonic music, it is just funny. All his major characters he has portrayed even into his elder years were always great to see that he could keep being relevant and working in genres that interested him.
As a historian I am amazed that Christopher Lee was related to the Emperor Charlemagne. As a music fan (though I often don't take to metal) I appreciate his dedication to his art. As a film lover I can say with confidence this is a man who never phoned in a performance. Here is someone who took life to its fullest potential and still amazed us until the end. A world without this man is a duller world, but at least we can appreciate his legacy.

You double your ancestors with every generation, and (given ~30 years per generation) Charlemagne was 40+ generations ago. That gives a number of ancestors greater than the amount of people who have ever lived. So your odds of having some Charlemagne in there are pretty high. You should know that, as a historian.
