- Count the number of P waves in a 6-second strip and multiply by 10.
- Use the same method as HR, but count the P waves instead of QRS complexes.
3. *Ventricular Rate:*
- Similar to HR, count the number of QRS complexes in a 6-second strip and multiply by 10.
*Steps:*
1. Obtain a 6-second ECG strip.
2. Identify and count the P waves (for atrial rate) and QRS complexes (for ventricular rate).
3. Use the respective formulas to calculate the rates.
