You can tell you've had good instructors for your drive. May I ask who you chose for instruction? Is this car your daily driver? Or a dedicated track car?
Mmmm with street, that's ok, you can still pull more out of the back stretch you just have to trust the hill like you did and find a way to obtain faster speed at the start of the stretch other then that. You did great, all you will get out of it is like t2:20 maybe 18 but that's is there isn't much faster that track can pull.
@@AndrewRodden I've never heard of a 'free' track, in Ontario. TMP is between 80 and 160 Canadian for 4 to 6 hours. This is about the best deal you'll find. Mosport (An old F1 track from the mid to late 60's) is about 700 for the full day with instructors. After they sign you off you can drive without an instructor and I believe it's less money. It sounds like a lot but, at Mosport you get instructors, a top notch track with great run off areas. Excellent marshals, a nice lunch (depending on the company you choose). Mosport also has a driver development track that is less money as well. At TMP you'll only have 1 marshal and you'll have to deal with a more novice set of drivers. But, that can have its advantages. I've not driven at Calabogie but, it is on my list whenever it opens up again after the virus stuff...
Now their getting closer to my times. Smooth lap.

That was my best lap around the track, on street tires (Hankook RS-3)
Do you have to pay to drive on the race track?
Commando Master Yes
Better question, do you know a race track I don’t have to pay to track on???
Southwood road in Muskoka.
(just joking)
