Coach got a question, should I look at the back of the rim when I shoot, or focus on the whole rim? I tend to switch between both, but I wanna just do one to be more consistent.
Imagine that there is a dot in the middle of the basket and a plate of three inches around the ring...try to shoot at the dot...u will increase the no. of shots u make
So u know the hooks on the rim that hold the net right, well there are always three of them facing u from anywhere. Look at the hook that’s in the middle and make that your aim. Just try to shoot so it goes right over that hook in that basket

Well, I am the opposite. I can make shots off the dribble, but I can't make a shot off the catch 😂 I ended up taking unnecessary dribble. That's like, when someone asks you a yes and no question and you say, "Yes, I do." rather then just a plain, "Yes."
Rafly lol if that’s the case it’s probably because you’re lacking some momentum or flow on your catch and shoot jumpers. Some players find that the act of dribbling does start that chain!
I see, it's funny cause I am a PF and when we are in perimeter we normally just catch and shoot all the time, but I always go for the one dribble pull up to the point where my opponents think I m the SG.
Hey man I heard steph say to never put ur knees in front of your toes when shooting. What’s your take on that because i find it pretty uncomfortable, and u also said to lean down with your chest when going off the dribble, how would u do that
As far as chest down, I think he needs to correct that example. There should be "some" lean but not as exaggerated as his chest was when he mentioned it. You want to get down, but that movement should be from engaging your hips, not engaged from your chest going down.

It's called a leg drift it's very useful if your squared to the basketball but your use to having a tilt in your shot
