Watched your posting and you were incorrect about the yellow Viper. It came with a Hot Wheels logo on the bottom right of the windshield like you said and it came "without" the Hot Wheels logo also. Not only on the USA card but the International card also. The short card only had it with the Hot Wheels logo only. I have every Hot Wheels Viper in every variation and every card variation. I also have every other brand of Viper that includes the brands of Matchbox, Johnny Lightning, Auto World, Maisto, Majorette, Ertl, Tarmac Works, Racing Champions, Takara Tomy, Greenlight, Jada, Greenbrier, Trendmasters, Joy Ride, Professional Collectibles, Bburago, Kyosho, SIKU, Yat Ming, and Welly. All 1/64 and all in unopened packages. Thank You ! Don

That’s awesome! I am getting there, I have probably have 350 different variations of the Viper between Hot Wheels, Matchbox, and other manufacturers. But thanks for the update on the windshield.

Nice review. Cool to see the comparison and crazy how much better the new one is. Instantly one of my favorites now. I wish now they’d do a proper non-convertible blue with the white stripes or white with blue stripes. I think it doesn’t say “new for 2023” on yours because you have the international cars, not the US card. I have the P case US card and it says it on there. I have the yellow and purple also a couple blue ones in the 2016 casting. Don’t have those originals. I do have a couple maisto versions I found at goodwill, one with yellow the yellow rims which is pretty cool.

Idk much about the car but it feels right to have the badge on the bumper instead of the hood.

ohh I need to get one! I always thought the front arches on the old one were way too high, and it stayed that way for a while. I always thought the Matchbox casting was more accurate. Maisto's was even better, and they usually always sucked lol.

yeah, it’s really weird how Mattel had the better Viper casting with Matchbox for so long but didn’t bother putting it with the Hot Wheels line until now.

I order most of my diecast from eBay. I received the yellow one and the new red one from 2023 today. I want to point out the windshield. Which one is more Correct? The yellow 92 retool from 2016 or the new red one from 2023? Also, did you knowtice there is a window piece in the rear behind the seats of the 23 casting?
