@@Edge-of-Reason for the ferret or the terrier? lol Mine haven't met ferrets yet, but anything small and furry (or small with wings) is a target, although my 10 year old goes for deer and seals as well given the chance! Always loved Amie's videos, and really liking this new turn she's taking
Yet again super awesome its so so amazing, bringing dying arts to the masses that would not have thought about without you . keep being awesome much love.
Fascinating! Enjoyed that! Love that little terrier! My first ferreting exposure was in Thaxted back in 1969. No dog. Put the ferret down the warren and quick (like a bunny! 😂) pinned a net over the hole.
As a kid growing in the 70's, every rabbit you would see, had mexamotosis. Dont get out in the woods much now. Good to see healthy ones. We kept healthy on s at home to eat. Nice one.!
Super video, it's incredibly refreshing to hear sensible conversation about hunting and cooking. I realise now I've seen your fishing videos on IG 👌.Plenty of markers that indicate developing knowledge, not least how long you need to cook adult wild rabbit,🧐 Long may you continue.
Me and the Mrs loving the vids Amie. Just a thought on fresh produce! I grew out some quail during covid. Butchered after 2months and it was my 1st experience killing and butchering an animal, very sustainable and clean. 2 month commitment in a small space/ rabbit hutch. Could be a good project. All the best and keep up the great content X
Interesting, like how he looks after his dog & ferrets, age old form of hunting & more natural like the bit about the tracker😂😂sadly I don't eat meat but my sister likes rabbit.
Used to ferret for rabbits to feed the dogs. Kept the dogs super healthy. The ferrets used to snuggle with the dogs after a run out. Great fun and better than feeding that canned crap
At first I thought "what kind of medieaval English bloodsport is this?". The I saw how sustainable, animal "friendly" a way of hunting this is. The cooking with the Joanna Lumley voice was hilarious😂
Where I grew up, everybody had an air rifle and a ferret or two. During summer, nobody ever went hungry. I'd like to have some again, but I live in the city now, plus they're too smelly and bitey.
Love you videos Amie
My Patterdales loved this video, absolutely transfixed!
Ha. My parsons did not but she has experienced ferrets before and it didn't end well

Fantastic video enjoyed that wish more people would understand and get behind field sports in this changing world.
Following in the footsteps of Jack Hargreaves’s. Country sports that are dying out. Good to keep them alive if we can.

Amie, another good watch, interesting and full of your quirky humour.😀😀

Look forward to the rabbit curry
It was delicious you’ll love it 🎉
I did know someone who eat the brains of a rabbit
Do you treat the skin/fur? You'll have a lifetime supply of rabbit dubbing for nymphs.

A fascinating insight, and a delicious meal as a reward :)

Another excellent video.
