And I don't understand why we're fighting. Our ancestors fought for the land as a source of food, income, and rank. And it seems to be considered stupidity, people began to ask for forgiveness for suffering, genocide, and oppression, but they continue to bring it to the World.
Not gonna lie, I had goosebumps when the aliens spoke and made the reference to Voyager.
Same, the close-up on Voyager and voice saying _"carrying a misleading message of hope and togetherness. You are not who you claim to be."_ had me good...

It's "better understanding" seemed quite a propaganda to me. Of course, Russia attacks first, starting the world war. Typical american brainwash narrative, aggressively pushed through decades of human history.
I was about to say the same; I had that impression, IA is just being ultralogic with human behavior on a situation like this; the greed, specially, that's what is gonna make us fall and fade, as specie! I'm so sad to realize that this is so close to what can really happen in an event of this greatness, instead of what's usually preached -all that stuff about a peaceful welcoming to the aliens, etc. 😢
I played with some AI websites and had it right some stories based on input I gave it. I was just using a freeware version, but could see how this could easily be influenced for a desired result. You could say.....create a story where aliens visit the earth, but humans don't cooperate with each other and panic, resulting in widespread conflict that disgusts the visiting aliens. That is once sentence and could get a similar storyline. You can keep modifying the story to massage it into something you like......such as, add in that the human panic results in nuclear war........add in that the aliens reset the planet.......etc. Just keep making changes until the story told is one that you like.
I really don't see the AI that is being touted as AI as Artificial Intelligence. It is more like a complex program capable of interpreting vague input to give a desired result. What has been shown to us so far is more of a garbage in, garbage out program. You can teach it to 'think' as you want. By this, I mean....give the exact same computer system with a new AI on it to Joe Biden and Donald Trump. Then each person trains it by inputting information. At the end, we will have one that is paranoid and thinks that the government is secretly trying to destroy us all and the other will want to drink from a sippy cup, eat chocolate chocolate ice cream and take frequent naps.
I would also like to point out that the peaceful aliens wiped out what was left of humanity.......not very peaceful.....lol
This was amazing to watch. As chilling as it may sound, I believe this is how AI sees us; as a civilization on the brink of destroying each other through petty squabbles, pride and ignorance.

Also the whole alien attitude is very reminiscent of thanos' "humanity has to die to save the planet" belief, which was something that resonated well with audiences, despite being also a well known scifi trope. It sounds plausible that this is something an AI would pick up upon

Aliens won't ever approach us like they do in the movies, unfortunately that's a problem too, anything they do here on Earth is shrouded in secrecy and makes them look really bad, like their terraforming our planet without our consensus or consent, alien civilizations that come to Earth should be destroyed just on principle!

This alien is pacifist, many nations would use it as a weapon or as a reason to attack the other countries, but different story when the alien is hostile, humans would need every help they could get including other countries, mean global effort and unity to solve the alien threat because no one can use that threat anyway

I like this movie because realistically is how we would react to such event! We have become so pessimistic and destructive that we always assumed the worst! We always tend to fear what we don’t understand! And I still think that most human beings are still really primitive and unprepared to be in direct contact with an advance celestial civilization! I think before we do any of that, we must first learn from our mistakes, and treat each other with dignity and respect!💫

Funny of you to think that aliens wouldn't be exactly like us in regards to most of our development. Barring very few extenuating circumstances, survival of the fittest is going to occur because it is almost always the path of least resistance. And in that vein Cells taking energy from other cells is almost always going to weight what kinds of life develop on a macro scale. The only time life would develop symbiotic or cooperative schemes is if there were already predators around to force cooperation, which is unlikely, or that resources are incredibly abundant to the point of the world being a paradise for the life that develops there, which is even more unlikely.
And in the latter case, those types of species who have grown up without knowing any hardship, have no right to criticize a species that has clawed its way up from oblivion and has reached a modicum of civility and enlightenment. These kinds of stories always leave a bad taste in my mouth because it spouts this holier than thou attitude by a species that likely hasn't known hardship in millennia, if they ever did and it reeks of entitlement and arrogance far worse than the angry murder monkeys that have tried for the last 8k years and possibly more to build up a civilization worthy of remembrance and falling short often, but never giving up despite the odds.

The Voyager Space Probe being one of the last things containing the knowledge of our existance, waiting to be discovered by the future civilization is quite a chilling thought. Most of the remaining things about us are on that record, and a few plaques on the Moon. What a well written movie, it really sends a message, a truthful one about us.

This was incredibly well put together. Despite it being made with AI, the various segments were combined to create a rather meaningful message that will always be relevant for as long as mankind exists. I like how it echoes the message found in the movie *"Contact".*
The fact that a.i. can create something of this quality genuinely makes me giddy with excitement for what is to come in just the next decade alone.

Most impressive and also most up to date short video I have ever seen, hitting the nail on head as concern almost all aspects of the contemporary human reality.
I'm curious about how much of this is AI vs. human work. Did AI generate the entire movie timeline as shown or did human editors take pieces generated by AI and edit them together? It says the script was produced by AI, how much of that content was influenced by the human-written AI query? Did AI come up with the entire concept or was it given a film treatment to work with? Lots of questions, but nevertheless, the final result is quite tantalizing.

The most insane thing about this movie is there are actually ufo/uap that look eerily similar to these depictions. I've never seen a ufo video with this double pyramid shape before but I have seen one in real life and while the AI version isn't %100 percent accurate its scary but also awesome this was chosen to represent what their ships look like!
AI shows the truth of human being. And the reference of voyager satellite was spot on.

Thousands of year ago, when humanity was harmless, they were here and maybe thes support us in improoving, but novadays, they learned, that humans are self-destructive, and in any foreign situation, we have only one solution - destroy everything...

Great short yet still very terrifying. As seen the world today, this probably is an accurate way of events and how our future will unfold.
This is a great and horrifying lesson for humanity. but despite how terrible world tensions are, it's definitely not accurate but that's not the point.
Russia taking down US boarding parties right inside the alien ship, and that single attack provoked the US to make a full-on nuclear response and destroy the world? Every country on Earth wants to avoid a nuclear war, despite how terrible world tensions are and how greedy politicians are, no one wants nuclear Armageddon. Going to full-on WW3 when the aliens arrive and nuclear Armageddon is too farfetched. But Russia blaming the US for the alien's arrival does seem realistic tho.

It seems that way but just for us, our limited intellect and amount of information that we got so far.
Most probably we can't even comprehend right now the way aliens would think and see us as species.
@@randomshiba779 agreed, i think both countries are smart enough to go nuclear just like that. I also don’t think aliens so advanced would just abandon and reset the planet when there would probably be survivors who are the kind of humans they desire to see
I also gotta say, if AI was ever meant to save humanity and this situation actually occurs, this beautiful AI masterpiece would be the 1 lesson that kept this reality from becoming our reality

What a great short story!.. so sad and yet so true with what the alien said, "you are not who we claim to be", humanity is not ready. ... So disappointing 😞. (This is what happens when we have some bad apples that still needs to grow up!🤨).
I cannot believe my eyes! this is insanely well constructed! It is really scary how AI could put together stories that can mess with social network news propagation. Only those with strong abilities in discerning what's real or not could tell the difference. Very Scary.
Think about pairing ai with deep fake technology and voice modeling. Very soon ai bots will be indistinguishable from actual humans in the virtual world

The 2016 US Presidential election provided a rich virtual environment for nefatious bots to refine AI to suit their purposes. Look how many voters were duped into believing that Hillary was evil and that drumpf was "chosen by God".
