Hi,i m watching from germany? Congrats to that trails and even you skills! I m thinking about buying a 390,but there s often talked about a lack of reliabiltiy. Did you have some issiues so far? Thks for respond.
I think that reliability was more a concern with the pre-2020 model years. Mine is a 2021 with about 9,000 miles on it (14,484 km), and it has been very reliable. There are, at times, little annoying issues that come up, but never anything that prevents the bike from running and riding. KTMs seem to be a bit quirky like that in general. Hpe this helps!
Awesome riding! I am on the fence of getting a CRF300L and building a BDR weapon; upgrade suspension, skids, racks, larger fuel tank…. Or 390 Adv and do tires and a skid. Wondering what your thoughts are, have you ever rode a 300L? The KTM seems better in every way except ground clearance, it’s only 1” more than my CT125! I have my fingers crossed they do a 390 R soon.
Unfortunately I haven't ridden a stock CRF 300L or rally yet, but I can tell you that generally for somone getting into the sport, I'd be more likely to recommend something like a CRF for a first BRD slayer build for sure.
@@FreeTimeAdventures nice, I was looking at changing the front, which from what I understand is a cheaper/easier install. Any reason you went with the rear? (Noob here)
@esodavr I swapped both to drive specialties sprockets, but I only changed size on the rear, and that decision just came down to sizes that were in stock at the time. I don't see a huge advantage one way or the other from a performance standpoint, though.
They are from MotoProWorks, check em out, they were pretty good on lead time and customer service, and the graphics are good quality in my very limited experience.
@gregorkrapez5559 They were fine after this ride. I never had any issues with the forged wheels until I did eventually bend one of them. The amount of force it takes to do that is pretty immense. I hit a large rock at about 35mph, at an event, and that did bend the rim. I wouldn't worry about it unless you ride really hard. I rode rocky two track for a year and a half and never damaged the wheels.
When this video was filmed the suspension was still stock. I would run the rear shock preload up two notches from the factory setting and had compression maxed out front and rear. I only slowed down rebound by a couple clicks I think. Now, the suspension has been modified to fit my weight..
ABS - Off Traction (MTC) - Off. The 2021 model year doesn't include road and offroad modes like the newer model years. Your only option is to toggle MTC and ABS on/off.
That just about is raw footage, other than the intro. I am talking to the camera while actually riding and there's very very little editing to this specific video. But if there's interest in pure riding videos with no or very little dialogue, I can put some of those out there as well...
They are Motoz Tractionator Rallz. I'm posting up a full rundown of parts and accessories for the 390 this Friday, March 15th, if there's anything else you wanted to know about as well.
@yusufkurniawan5454 thanks! It's the same one as the KTM 390 Duke from competition werks. They don't specifically say it fits the adventure, but I did not have any issues installing it. Pro tip - get an extra exhaust gasket for the muffler. Pulling the original one out to re-use it without wrecking the thing can be very difficult.
That was fun, thanks! Some of us in the flat lands have to live vicariously through guys like you. Much appreciated. 😀
Looks like a fun trail system out there. And I tell ya, that graphics kit looks even better in person than it does in the video!
Very exciting your upload contents! awesome!!
Those are some beautiful trails! You make them look easy haha
This is awesome! Was really on the fence about this bike but now I really want one 👍🏼
Awesome, glad you liked it! I hope you get your own and do all of the adventures, it's worth it.
just got one myself, working on my license. so i got 1000km on road atm, and i am very pleased with it! :D best adventure for the price!
You're crushing it! Great trail riding skills.
I like mine a lot. 👍🏍️
Hi !
Thanks for your video !
What’s the model of your front fender plz ? 😃✌🏻
Np!
It's a Tusk high front fender kit, you can get it from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC.

Heard you mention a different sprocket while riding - did you replace rear or front?
Rear sprocket, +2 teeth from 45 to 47 for a tad more torque and lower idle speed.

Where did you get those graphics? They look awesome!

Are the wheels ok? Did they twisted or are they ok because they are not spoked?

heyy
wondering what pre-loads adjustments do you use for shocks and fork

Stock suspension ?
Yep, the suspension is fully stock, though new mods are coming and we'll see those in early 2024!
What mode did you drive on?
ABS - Off
Traction (MTC) - Off.
The 2021 model year doesn't include road and offroad modes like the newer model years. Your only option is to toggle MTC and ABS on/off.
Just a suggestion, make it raw footage it'll b fun to watch.

@@FreeTimeAdventures Sorry what i meant was that the BGM was a bit loud and if it had only the raw audio of the videos it would have been good.

Akrapovic slip-on or fullsystem?
It's the slip on with a competition werks chamber delete.
