Hey!! Just popping in to say heyyy and thankyou for all the love on my last video ❤️ Also, I appreciate the constructive criticism but I’d also love the grace and space to explore in the ways that feel best for me! I know we all have our own opinions on how to do things and while insights can be helpful, sometimes telling or “warning” people certain things causes unnecessary stress and pressure when this journey is supposed to be free and fun! 🫶🏽
As someone who has been watching you since the beginning I love that you have gotten to this step in your hair journey. So many black women I meet with locs say that it is a beautiful journey to experience. I hope you enjoy it my gurl, congrats💜💜
I Loc’d my hair on April 2. Also documenting my loc journey on YT. Yiur locs are beautiful. This is my second set of locs. First set I was Loc’d for over 4 years. I decided to cut them off in Oct/2023. I wanted to start again with a smaller set of locs with more uniformed parting. I went to Napp Star in NYC for my second set a few weeks ago. So far I’m enjoying the journey. I hope you enjoy your journey too. New subbie❤❤❤
10 months in my loc journey and I learned to not use Rose Water. It only softens and makes my hair frizzy. I use "Made for Locs" products and I love it. I use the Aloe spray and the spray oil everyday and my locs are beautiful. I use their foam and locs gel to retwist.
I started my loc journey Mar 23rd. The journey has been awesome even though at times, my hair seems dry and and frizzy. I would not change my decision though. I've started my journal for my loc journey!! Writing during this process is the best!!! You're doing great!!!
I loved your loc video! I think this is the year for me to get locs. My son has them. He tried that cleansing oil but got a little build up after awhile, so I let him use my Taliah Waajid Moisture Clenz Scalp Treatment that I use when I install braids and he loves it for cleansing his scalp. Thanks for sharing your journey! I will be watching!
Thankyou so much! I haven’t tried it all over yet but I’m definitely going to look into the taliah waajid product as well. Thanks for the recommendation!! ❤
Girl, I am so proud of you!!!❤ You have really become so confident and outgoing over the past couple of years. Now, I have a question about these locs. Do you have to cut off all of your hair h once you decide, or if you decide to stop wearing locs? That has been my resistance to locs.
