So 8 & Double Dash's Starman Themes are the most reused ones... 8's okay but my personal favorite Starman Theme Version will always be Double Dash❤It's just sounds more different, and have that Salsa Tropical Party feel to it💃

It took me a while to realize that the melody for the Starman theme in the Mario Kart games is a little different compared to the Super Mario games and most spin-off titles besides Mario Kart (except Super Mario Kart which is the same as the original).

I wonder why the mario kart seroes decided to make it's own star theme from 64 onwards with the different best.

1) Wii - just sounds perfect, i get goosebumps listening to it
2) Double Dash/Arcade GP/Arcade GP 2 - easily recognisable and so cheerful
3) 8/Tour/LHC - solid but not the best
4) 7 - good but sounds a little unusual
5) similar to mk7 but slightly worse
6) 64 - okay but has that barking sound in the background too much
7) Super MK - classic but just like the game itself, outdated
8) Super Circuit - had potential but the low-bit music made it sound bad
9) Arcade GP DX - DOESNT EVEN SOUND LIKE A STARMAN THEME I HATE IT, would prefer listening to this in a club 😭

Here's some food for thought: when/if Nintendo makes a Mario Kart equivalent of Smash Bros. Ultimate and curates almost every course from the franchise's history, maybe the Star jingle, among other jingles, could change depending on what game the course came from.
As for any new courses, I'm thinking about having a remix of the Star jingle from Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins play on them.
