How to Connect Low Voltage Switchglass to Doors

"Hi. My name is Roman Watkins. Welcome to this presentation which today we'll be showing you how to connect low-voltage Switchglass to these very handy magnetic connectors. These magnetic connectors are very flexible. They allow us to connect Switchglass into situations that are very difficult to use cabling such as sliding doors, sliding windows and even operable walls.
Magnetic connectors are spring-loaded. As the receiver gets closed, the magnets shoot out to create contact. A fantastic use for these magnetic connectors combine with our low-voltage Switchglass is these operable walls. A lot of these operable walls will stack into a cupboard or to one side of a room and it's just impossible to have cords or leads or flexi cables between each of the door connectors. With this recent project that we competed, we were able to flush the magnetic connectors into this operable wall system and this allowed us to power up the switchable glass into a clear state and allow the customer to have an amazing acoustic performance.
