Guyanese Lime Sour

  • Ingredients
    15 Ripe lime
    3 Tbs salt
    1/2 Wiri Wiri pepper or any hot pepper of your choice
    2 Tbs White vinegar
    1 Cup chopped or grind garlic
    1 Tbs olive oil
    This has to be placed in an air tight container and put in the sun , it’s best served after a few days in the sun 🌞 it Will thick up as it rest in the sun

    Interesting. I made some a few months ago. But I didn’t steam it. I did however put it in the sun ☀️ for a few days. However, I will try something his way and see if it will come out as perfect as yours. Great job! 👌

    1st time seeing your channel. I like it. 😊 Just wondering 🤔 though what if you added some garam masala when frying the garlic, that would make it even more spicy 🔥.

    I bought some thin skinned green limes and made some achar earlier today. I juiced them, quartered them and boiled for about 30 minutes, added some whole wiri wiri pepper and then drained it well. After it cooled a little, I mixed it with the garlic, grind pepper and salt and the lime juice and some vinegar. I tasted a little bit and it was kind of bitter. Do you think the limes needed to boil out more long? Or as it sits in the sun a few days, the bitterness will go away?

    Where did you get yellow limes, the limes we get in Canada is always green
