glad to see you pick this up. its a great game. one thing to note is fertile soil is the most powerful food generator early game. it multiplies food production by 1.5 including your berry bushes. . . . Omens (Pink eye icon) can't be modified and increase the power of the domain by 1every time. you can affect the normal events (ones that come after each omen and season change) doom events are +1 power compared to your normal domain power the column the event shows up in on the prophesy tab tell you what domain it is for; sickness, fear, heat/cold, cataclysm. that is how you know what you need to research and build before it hits you, Houses expand your town edges btw, only by 1 but it is helpful. speaking of houses checkerboard them! they give adjacency bonuses for later techs so you don't want them clumped.
If you like Agricola, Caverna is a refined version by the same designer. It's got dwarves! Donkeys! The unbalanced occupation and improvement cards are replaced with a shared market of tiles!
I really enjoyed this game, I ended up putting in over 200 hours and unlocked all the elders. Quite challenging and the rng can be a bit vicious at times XD. But there are ways to mitigate even some of the worst the game throws at you once you understand the game more. Highly recommend it!

Why do you get such a good map? I've played six runs of this and every time about a third to half of the map is cut off from being useable due to water, tree and rock features blocking access to flat areas!
What's wrong with it being paid for with your mom's card? I got this and a couple other games as a birthday present; most of my birthday/Christmas gifts are gaming related, so like half my steam library comes from my mom or brother over the years. I mean the creators got money and I got the game, so what does it matter if it was a gift from my mom.
At like 24 minutes in, you cut out a lot of gameplay because you figured it wasn't pertinent to the video. But the video is already an hour and a half long! and now i'm lost as to whats happening, where the extra UI came from, why youre now getting the blue berries, and what decisions led you to where you are now! I clicked on this video already knowing that its an hour and a half long, if i wanted a shortened or abridged video i would have watched something else. I'm here for your commentary and gameplay and to watch the whole thing through. if i didnt want to watch something or thought it was boring i could have skipped ahead myself, but now i'm lost because you cut out a whole bunch of stuff! this is supposed to be your vod channel but its slowly turning into your main channel with the amount of editing there is. its been hjappening more and more. :(
Dev here! Thank you for playing, happy you like it! :D

Such a great, unique game. And the dev is super friendly and responsive.
Well it's a shame I missed the stream! But I shall accept your offering of VODs with enthusiasm.
He didn't stream this game, mentions it at 3:40
Hmmm, makes me wonder, can you beat Wyldermyth with the most difficult setting and probably with some challenge?
