I saw Chris in 1994 at Piers in Fort Wayne Indiana....it's was his national tour off of Texas Sugar Strat Magic....it is still to this day one of the greatest displays of guitar majic I have ever experienced...one of the most underrated players to ever strap on a stratocaster....🎸🎸🎸
He plays like he only knows one scale and fudges everything thing else and any grossly missed roots he blazes through until he finds a note that works.....lol....love it
Jane Millerick and BjavaBbotBme so glad you enjoyed Chris Duarte. He is my Hubby's and mine's favorite guitarist. We've seen him do even better things than this, if you could believe that.
There's something a little Zeppelin about this.... Brilliantly entertaining, though somewhat niche. It reminds me so much of Dazed and Confused live. Not musically necessarily, more thematically.
Jesus, south of where ? maybe south of being in tune, or maybe south of Albert Ayler's house. Anyway after 16 minutes of this disjointed atonal weirdness I believe this is the worst version of drivin south Ive ever heard
He's playing so hard on an old strat he's probably bending strings out of tune. Chris also adds in different jazzy notes. Rowan let's see you get up there and put everything you have into it.

Years later, still love this video!!
Great job. it is not about doing it note for not it is about the spirit and the vibrations that happened long time ago.
Love this guy. Such a gentleman and a guitar beast!
You've got to hear it and see it to believe it!
Chris has more energy than 10 players!
Great Chris, great! Hello from Italy.
It's like Hendrix got together with Dimebag, Jeff Beck and SRV. Love it. I think Chris can bend iron with those fingers. Feel fatigued just watching.
Amazing !!!!

great mad version never seen..
thank you!
Sounds great! I'm very picky about being able to pick out the bass playing over the lead and drums, and I like when I can feel the kicks, too!
Finish like room full of mirrors at 'Enter of the Dragon'
The drummer's cymbal is too loud on this recording. It gets in the way of hearing Chris playing.
hell! t's excellent and so's the sound. damn!! great one..
BjavaBbotBme bet you'll enjoy ths too!!
Jane Millerick Oh Yeah!!!!!!!! ;) Thanks, Jane! Happy weekend:)

Just what I thought Rowan you don't play guitar. You just criticize others.
