I'm new to this and I've a simple question ... if I made a template from mdf what should I cover it with to stop the mould pour soaking into the wood? I was thinking bees wax!

You can try sealing it with acrylic spray, mod podge or some type of sealer.

If you pour from high up in a small stream then you can avoid most bubbles in the silicone!

How did you keep the items from floating? I didn't see any adhesive.

If it’s heavy, you won’t need to, otherwise you can use a bit of hot glue (glue gun) to hold it down.

Is it suppose to go in the refrigerator 2 cure or can you leave it out 2 cure

Just leave it out in room temperature. Cover it to avoid dust falling in.
