Your narration sounds like a novel at so many points! I love it! Great video. Big fan of Osaka and wasn't disappointed by this. Fair play to you for being experimental even in a place where you had limited time!

Wow this was infinitely entertaining. Story, imagery, history, poetry and a dash of comedy. Well done! And thank you!

Love the style of this video and the amazing images! I do want to visit Japan one day and hit up some of those stores that sell rare/odd/expired films! But I probably won't shoot CineStill 800T :P

I can so relate to the "golden hour rush" - trying to find some shots before the light goes away :)

Looking forward for the next Japan report. Save travels and always an additional 35mm roll in your pocket.

From a crusty oldster who has long since transitioned to digital: the thing about Golden Hour, especially in built up places, is that you have to find your spot, and keep returning. It's so ephemeral. I know one intersection in Sydney, AUS, where the photographers used to gather in a group at the same time each day at certain times of the year, each competing for the best shot. Eventually, something really special is caught.
Also, an old rule of thumb: if you get one keeper from a full roll, you're doing well. I got that from a National Geographic photographer; their average, for publication, was around 1/100. Maybe you can understand why I prefer digital these days.
That said, thanks for keeping film alive; if I ever get rich, it's nice to know my old cameras can still be used. Keep snapping!

I always need the realism that even the best photographers in the world have hundreds of dud shots for every winner. I moved away from digital because I hated that feeling, and now with film I've come back around! Thank you for watching, and for the sage advice!

Nicely presented ❤ How long did the lab take to process your film?

For this video I have used both parts of brain, one side for audio and photos and second part for video...but still I am little dizzy.😵‍💫.
