Postcard vs. Train travel: The Ultimate European Race! (Gdansk to Manchester)
We put it to the test in this epic race across Europe! Our adventure starts in Gdansk, Poland, where we send a postcard on a mission to get back to Manchester, England faster than we can travel ourselves.
Join us on a whirlwind journey as we navigate cozy night trains, explore the bustling streets of Berlin, and zip through the countryside on the high-speed Eurostar.
It's a race against the clock (and the postal service) filled with stunning landscapes, exciting challenges, and maybe a little friendly competition.
Will our postcard become the ultimate champion, or will we reclaim our travel bragging rights? Watch to find out who wins in this epic postcard showdown!
We are Live the Dash & we belive small budgets can stretch many miles.

Thanks for watching!
What a great idea for a video! I always go for the bottom bunk. Not only is it easier to get up for those all-important shots out of the window, but the centre of gravity is lower, and so you feel the sway of the carriage less compared with the top bunk.
I read this comment in your accent haha
Loved this concept guys! Maybe next one could start in Gibraltar or perhaps Sicily? 🤷🏻♂️
Some extra ideas for the next one (to save money getting from France to Manchester avoiding the hefty Eurostar expenses) is either getting the train from Paris to Calais then the ferry from Calais to Dover then Southeastern railway to London St Pancras or (as a way to avoid London entirely) getting the ferry from Dieppe to Newhaven then the train to Reading via Gatwick in order to get the CrossCountry service up to Manchester Piccadilly
You guys are so creative in new videos 👍love these challenges
This makes us smile. Thank you 🙏
Great video. Something unexpected usually happens on a long train adventure, but thats all part of the fun.
Very fun! You two always make me smile! Can't wait to see the next race.
Thanks for watching along! The next race WE MEAN BUSINESS
Another great Vlog, you are both so imaginative with your vlogs which are fun, informative and challenging also, both in time and a budget Thank You for sharing

There's about 200,000 Scottish people doing this challenge from Munich tomorrow. They've been successful at all their other previous attempts
Hahahahaha
What a fantastic idea for a video guys! Thanks
Shocked You Guys Get Quite Low Views On Your Videos You Do Well On Your Shorts But You Should Have Atleast 200,000 Views A Video! Your Both Amazing Cant Wait Watch Your Channel Grow Too Where It Should Be 🙂
Best videos ever. Should have so many more subscribers
Great video, the fact that it costs so much compared to flying is another reason why traveling via railway should become cheaper. You guys always cheer me up, well made :)!
Hi guys, keep up the great content, and have a good day!
0:50 I have a question. What time did you sent the postcard? On the post box there is a sign that they are taken out at 2 pm (from Monday to Friday).
Wow, stumbled upon your channel in my recommendations, what a creative video! You have a new subscriber, can't waif for more adventures :)
Next time buy an interrail pass.. it will be much cheaper.. especially when you are younger then 27 😉. I love traveling across Europe sqeeuzing as much places/cities as i could on one pass.. Athens or sophia (bulgaria) are great cities to start from or travel..lots of cities to visit a long the way back to England (or the netherland in my case).
Enjoyed that video, it’s kept me up 17mins longer than I wanted to be up 😂😂😂
Top Gear did this years ago. They raced Royal Mail.
New start point: Morroco
Ooooo I like this idea!
The sleeper train 😂
A low point
Next start point go to the very bottom of Sicily 🇮🇹
This is so good. Next time start from Malta!
That would be fun! We have got the ferry from Malta to Sicily before. A great journey!
That looks like a fun idea for a challenge. Perhaps possible to do a bit quicker but hard to say last minute really.
Perhaps next time try Denmark or Sweden as it's a very short flight but much longer by land.
New start point Lisbon Portugal or Porto
What a great video. You guys are so good to watch. Thank you. Very inspiring for my own channel.

Have you managed to claim the refund for the train issues in Germany?
if you have managed to get a refund, I challenge you to travel as far as you can by flight and then, do the postcard challenge again. ;)
Ireland or norway
If you had to pick one… 🤔
Athens Greece bet you can`t do it.
Athens would be a great start point. fredos all round 🤤
Well... Deutsche Bahn is known for delays
Never take a train in Germany if you don't have a lot of time
Porto
Ryan your a lucky man jade is adorable and has beautiful feet ❤
Hotels in Berlin are actually cheap, no idea how you've spent over 200.
They were all crazy prices when we arrived (we booked it on the day). Similar prices to London 😥
7:42 nice safe very wise healthy idea having a plug socket just beneath the sink. i dropped my phone thats charging oh no the train is on fire
trains from poland? yeah, as a jew, i'm going to sit this video out, ta
That is foul😭
Not funny. What does Poland have to do with the Holocaust? You should blame the other nation that was responsible for it.
It was not Poland responsible for your nations fate.
new start point brataslava
