At Oakland County International Airport on Wednesday afternoon, we interviewed student pilot Taylor Hash about a recent flight she piloted on Friday, March 24.

The audio was edited at 1:11. The tower controller said "Nobody has not seen this before". Poor journalism.

@@blueboats7530 indeed. Reported for misinformation. They repeated the same thing on their website. Then they wonder why people don’t trust the media.

Caught that too. Disgraceful "journalism," but what can we expect. They'll never understand how tight-knit aviation is. It was more dramatic in the uncut version, because it showed that the tower was also helping tremendously to calm her nerves. Everyone involved--except the journalists--did an outstanding job.

So true, and good callout. Gotta sensationalize everything. Shameful ‘news’ network directly lying to their viewers. Do yourself a favor and view the full length video of the actual communication and remember the news always selects what they want to portray.
