So, so, so, helpful. You are hilarious kiddo. Keep up the good work. You're an inspiration to young and old. People learn when they are having fun and feel inspired, that's how I learn best, so that's how I teach and you bring that to the table in an authentic way. Thanks for that. This has given me the confidence I needed to write my DEI letter for a teaching position I'm applying for. It's been a few years so this helps. Thanks 🙏 😉 🤗 ❤
Hi everyone! Great video as always. I have one thing I'd like to address. As a disabled person myself, and as a person who knows many disabled people, please do not call us "differently abled." I know this inclination comes from a place of compassion, but it doesn't effectively serve that purpose. It comes off as condescending. Additionally, it carries the implication that to be disabled is to be less than. I am quite disabled, but that's okay. Again, I'm not trying to be hostile or accusatory. It's just not as kind a term as able bodied and neurotypical people seem to think. Thanks for your understanding, and the fantastic video!
Dear Dr. Ann, thank you for all you do, please I am interested in the “comprehensive package AKA money saver” with Upward consult, please kindly advise on way forward. Thank you in advance for your response.
I appreciate this video Ann, thank you so much! However, I am a little conflicted. I wrote three paragraphs before I completed your video: one focusing on diversity, another on equity and the last on inclusion. It all came naturally to me but I didn't include the last portion about how I plan on continuing DEI in the future (your paragraph 3). Is that something I can get away with or is it absolutely necessary to include in my statement?
"Dear Powerful Institution....I am very Blackety black, and I love me some hood folks. I grew up very hood, and love the hood, and want to bring the hood to your space"
Hi Dr Ann Thanks for this tip. I have been looking for how to start and then I came across this. Please is there anyway you can help with reviewing my application has to be submitted by Dec 1. Thanks
Thank you Dr. Ann. Great video. But the question I am trying to address is, How I will contribute to a diverse population? The community of students are diverse in ways such as ethnicity, interests, values and backgrounds. I have written something but doesn't sound convincing to me at all. If you could offer some help by reviewing I would be glad. Deadline is 15th.
DEI has mostly taken black people's pain and helped other groups. No different than the POC group takes black people's pain for their own selfish benefits. I've dealt with and work in DEI (At people who think my response is purely speculation).
…Where did you get this outlandish theory from? Can other people not experience different backgrounds, or pain themselves? It’s just another way to shows the admissions board your story. Don’t make it something it is not
Your videos make me imagine myself in your class. I believe your students are delighted to have you lecture them. Well done, Ma’am
Your tips got me an interview at an Ivy League school! Now I need a video of what to do in the interview.
Thank you!!! This was so valuable. I appreciate your time in making this.
Although I think writing these docs are meaningless and counter-productive, you provided some good tips on how to structure an example doc. Thanks.

Don't forget to put a picture of Joseph McCarthy on your CV.
Step one throw it in the trash.

Great, I will add a credit to your aspirations and goals , I will quote this into my paper

I've been seeing the diversity and inclusion in Liberal cities, and it looks awfully violent.
