Thank you Mr. Berlinsky for these highly insightful videos! Really appreciate it!
I am glad to hear that you are interested and following.
The bright side of this pandemic it that so many of todays great players are having these interview preserved for future students. I am a woodwind player, but still so much in this channel. Thanks you.
Thank you for your comment. I am glad to hear you share my vision.
He's a tremendous teacher❗️
My favourite violinist!
That tone!
Thank you for sharing these wonderful tips for string players. You are making the "tools of the trade" widely available for future generations to enjoy!
What a treasure is this channel! Thank you!
Thank you for joining and following!
“Some of the great master did that, god bless them” :-)
Thanks you, Mr. Zukerman, for all those beautiful memories of your great teacher Ivan Galamian. Greetings from Venezuela!
Mr Zukerman always brags about his teacher Galamian, but does he even realize how great of a pedagogue he is himself ?
True. But I love that he’s so grateful to Mr. G. Class act.
It is the first time I've ever seen a great player/teacher go over the bowing at the beginning of Intro and Rondo. Bravo, maestro!
I watch these a lot, thank you so much for this great opportunity to learn from Mr. Zuckerman!!
I am glad that you have joined and will be able to see updates and other videos from Dorothy DeLay MasterClass Series.
@@Berlinsky yay thank you for your time!
Very insightful comments from Maestro Zuckerman.Thank you.
Thank you Mr Berlinsky!
Как же он здорово объясняет! 🤩
Fantastic amount of instruction and interesting facts, thanks to both. I've thought you should practise playing in tune with out-of-tune strings too but then I play mainly in amateur groups!
That was terrific.
Wonderful insights! Very helpful hints from the master. Thank you!
Zukerman ist der BESTE und der GRÖßTE Geiger
Musiker Lehrer der Welt.

Do you know any good Zukerman student?
@@leonardoiglesias2394 there are some. Google it. But I don't think him to be the best music educator ever. Too arrogant for that, or that's my impression anywya
Thank you for this phenomenal masterclass series, especially with one of my all time favorites, Pinchas Z!
Will you have William Fitzpatrick and Cornelia Heard in this series as well?
Genius. Love this, thanks! 🙏
Definitely one of the most helpful violin videos I’ve ever seen.
I really enjoyed this, very insightful.
Great lesson
indeed
The best right hand ever...
Muito bommmm👏
Wonderful! Thank You!! 🎻❤️
Thank you for this
Génial ❤️ merci
Thank you!!!
Very helpful
Its amazing how little great players know about how a violin really works. They are talented, they work a lot and they play great. But normally they have no idea about the physical aspect of violin playing.
Pinky the violin God!
Que grande eres!!!!
So distinguished
Pinchas should tell us how can someone play in tune if he cant hear that something is out of tune. And that is very very common.
I agree with Zukerman but I agree with you as well. As an amateur I realised (and accepted) late that professionals can be very limited with some of their playing skills and for some it’s even hearing properly. Some simply don’t practise enough and haven’t connected to their instrument or will never do. Which poses the question if they picked the right instrument. Seriously.
Heifetz way of practing scale is , practice left finger alone of Carl Flesch and 3rds scales first.
Sorry, what do you mean exactly by “left finger alone”? Thank you!
@@nitelite4340 There is a book called "Basic Study" written by Carl Flesch published by Carl Fischer.
There is left finger alone exercises. Heifetz did practice this regularly and Hillary Hahn also does it.
I do too and it's very helpful for violin students.
One of the Heifetz video on UA-cam shows how Heifetz was doing it.
@@망히-z9z thank you so much!
@@nitelite4340 You are welcome. In case you want to see me playing on UA-cam - simon young kim

Его же Галамян обучал да?
Да, он о нем и говорит здесь
It is NOT important WHAT you play when you practise. Just try to sound like Zukerman in ANYTHING you are practising and it is going to be useful. Practise the scales that he is playing out of tune and they are going to be completely useless.
아니 이게 누구신가?! 인종차별자 아니신가?!
Only learn to handle the violin bow from him. Please do not learn anything else.
Why?
i had a masterclass and i can confidently say he is one of the best teachers I've had the opportunity of learning from(among Aaron Rosand, Ehnes, Kalinovsky, Richard Lin)
Zukerman is an excellent pedagouge.. don't underestimate him man I've seen his teaching style
