Ya on the maiden I launched it. It did fine Ive launched it two other times. But it's super sketchy. My controller whips around and I accidentally hit buttons. It's just to hard to get on the controls and hold it steady and launch the plane. I ended up having my son hand launch it for me so it can be done much safer
Why does it launch the airplane vertically upwards. We used to launch an airplane close to the horizontal with a slight climb. Then the traction of the motor helps to slightly increase the speed of the throw and since the speed does not decrease, you will have plenty of time to reach the transmitter. Not to mention that if you start the aircraft horizontally rather than upwards, you can do this with one hand, and you can safely hold the transmitter in the other hand. Of course, there is the thrust-to-weight ratio at which the plane can stretch vertically and rise, but it is still recommended to perform the throw almost horizontally. Have a good flight!
It has plenty of power to launch however. But the bad thing was when I tossed the plane my controller swung over and hit my arm and I lost control before it started flying. That's why I rather not hand launch myself if I can help it. It's way easier to have someone launch for me so I can be quick on the controls. No biggy though. The plane was fine.
Impressive plane! That first launch was scary, I'm glad it survived, looks like it flies great 👍

This is a huge plane. Just to big to launch one handed.
Nice fight, 57mph, not bad for that size plane on 3S.
Ya it's pretty good. More than fast enough
Hello, it's NASA
